going back and watching the show, its really bad. From the acting to even how the sisters treat the men in their lives. Men have no agency. To the sisters its all "Oh which man shall i have today? Ahh if he's bad just throw him out and find another. Use protection though, you dunno where its..i mean 'he' has been." Even logical reasoning goes out the window. Like the one above mentioned how White Lighters are meant to be a secret, yet in later seasons one witch openly says "Oh yeah my white lighter..." And the acting, oh God's, no wonder this sister ended up in a softcore film about vampire sex with Martin Kemp from Eastenders. The sisters were just bicycles, to put it simple.
I always thought that knowing about the fact that White Lighters exist was not the problem. Problem was when specific White Lighter(Like Leo here) revelead himself to his/hers charge.
This is why Phoebe is my favorite, she's fun. I don't really care about the behind-the-scene issues coz I was not there, I don't have the full details and it's not my life.
They only brought the levitation back when Phoebe needed help learning how to control hers (and once when Cole was trying to get Phoebe move out of the house and he set of the fire alarm) :D But heating up tea? Never. Although the light bulb could be the same power as him creating the lights at his and Piper's wedding. It was however a bit absurd that after Leo became an Elder and we started seeing more of them, they seemed to have crazy powers. Like, why did they even need witches to fight demons when they themselves are so powerful?
@@Domihork They have rules and such. I would suspect that it would have to do with not directly interfering in events and instead guiding people to do what need to help out. It's honestly very difficult to take on a role of noninterference. Leo was most likely given some exceptions to that with the Charmed ones. But he messed up by falling in love. And then they made more exceptions for the two of them, realizing that they could either allow it or anger a powerful witch and a white lighter.
@@Domihork Well I guess the tea was kinda like healed, same way he "healed" their p3 sign and he healed the book in season 1. But its true that once you actually see them you understand that their powers are very limited and there are some plotholes regarding how much they interfere with the witches and the world. Even darklighters turned to simply bow hunters on later season even tho they were introduced as evil lighters who are trying to seduce women to spread evil kids and they had much more power
I think he called them founders to better define who they were but he did say group of elder white lighters known as the founders. So he did call them elders.
I think if he had gotten to keep using them all they would have blown the special effects budget by season 3 😂 Considering that’s why they cut back on the special effects in the later seasons.
Thank you so much for loading the vidoes up and remeber us the good old times and remeber all the good times❤. I love it!! And i love that series so much!!! Since i was about between 9 10 11 !!! Greetings from Vienna 🇦🇹
@@InesSamara531 all the rules he mentions are treated as tho they never existed in all the remaining seasons. For example: 1 the founders are only ever referred to as elders 2 all witches know about their whitelighters but he says they don’t 3 all the powers he has now are never used again by him nor should any whitelighter every again without any explanation or mention, etc etc
Leo's powers seemed to come and go as needed. I wonder if some of the powers only worked if he was helping a witch at that time. But he couldn't heat his own tea at home, but he could heat Phoebe's tea if she needed it.
The way Phoebe delivered the line oh my God at 1:17 was funny but also kinda sounded orgas...well let's just say it revved up my tingles a little bit 😉
Not gonna lie, the elders in the show are full of shit. Who has a light power, and the elders of said power, tell you to keep it a secret. I understand you’re not just supposed to go around telling anybody and everyone. But it also goes to show that there’s a negative bias against witches and warlocks. Even Phoebe was racist against her own kind, that’s not right discriminatory against her own kind. Because she was afraid he was a warlock. Now in her defense I understand because a lot of warlocks and witches are primarily evil not all but God dammit if it’s not a lot.
