It is actually true what Jaby told about Anurag. He did sign up for it coz in an interview Anurag told he wants to do a scene where he gets killed in a film made by Lokesh since all the characters(famous actors) who die in a Lokesh movie somehow feel to be on a grand level and he wants to be a part of it. That is the reason why Vijay's character says the dialogue "He asked for it" which obviously refers to what Anurag had told in that interview.

In one of his interview, Anurag-"I don't need the role, i need to die in Lokesh's film". Leo after shooting in his head - "U asked for it"😎🔥

Actually Vijay has a specific style of running as good as Tom cruise but he/the director intentionally made it look bad since that was the character of a 50yo family guy.

This movie is good, but could have been better, but was ultimately carried by Thalapathy's Acting❤

My personal opinion is Das & Co could have been such scary menacing villains as both Arjun & Sanjay Dutt are fantastic actors. But, however, their characters were so under utilised.

Actually, there is a lot going on with the flashback of Leo. Actually, the guy who narrated the flashback to Joshi will say that it's just his perspective of what has happened, and that scene is deleted. Later, a video was released by the producer on his RU-vid channel where the guy said that it was his perspective. Moreover, he'll tell Joshi that this is only the one-day story of the flashback. Only the director knows about the exact flashback.

Many fans are saying that the flashback portion was fake. They didn't understand what director said. He never used the word fake he said that it's from the perspective of D'Souza (Mansoor Ali Khan's character). Everything they showed in flashback human sacrifice thing, Leo's sister was killed, destruction of the tabacoo factory all those things happened in reality the only thing D'Souza lied about was Leo getting shot by Antony Das because he wanted to make Joshy Andrews (Forrest officer Parthiban/Leo's friend) believe that Leo is dead. So D'Souza told him a rough version (or perspective) of Leo's story that made Joshy and Parthi's family believe that Parthiban is not Leo. Because he didn't have any bullet marks on his body. Parthiban is a man with history of violence but when we came to see the flashback it was not at all violent. Imagine a scenario, instead of over the top stupid intro scene of Leo in second half, if lokesh introduced us to Leo with much more intense and violent scene it would have more impact. In Kaithi climax the tension element was whether Dilli will survive and meet his daughter and the tension at commissioner office all that kept audience engaged. In Vikram the child factor and Rolex cameo engaged and excite the audience. But in Leo there was no tension element in climax and the only exciting part was hyena. The revelation of Parthi accepting he is Leo was not impactpull because of Badass song in interval and the title announcement video, because these two things alread told us that Vijay is playing dual shade character even before the release of movie. Imagine if the name of movie was something else and there was no title announcement video and badass song. That scene would have been much more impact full. I was expecting a blood bath in climax after that amazing chase scene but it was simple.

Trisha still looks so beautiful, Vijay Thalapaty bhi young hai... And Sanjay dutt ka screen presence Aaj bhi Faadi hai...

Yeah it is Anurag, it was made as a Joke as Anurag wanted to atleast die in LCU, hence they signed up him for fun

Although 'Leo' isn't the best Lokesh's film (for me it's Kaithi > Vikram > Leo), it's still pretty exciting thanks to its badass execution, awesome action sequences and a really great performance by Thalapathy Vijay in years but somehow I feel that Jaby and Achara aren't really into it. Guys, please make Andrew watch it. I really loved his reaction to Kaithi. I feel he'd be much more excited about this film. He would've definitely praised all the impressive action sequences (not even a word about the great coffee shop sequence? - it was jaw-dropping and so well-written).

The flashback is from a third person's perspective so some parts of the back story might be fake, he might have lied to save LEO's present life as Parthiban 🤷🏻‍♂️. If you'd have noticed Sathya went to the orphanage to check if Parthiban was truly an orphan and for her it checks out that Parthiban is not LEO. Parthiban has set the whole narative by setting up people in every place to prove that he is not LEO. The character that narrates the back story is very close to LEO that's why he is potraing that LEO is already dead to not snitch on Parthiban aka LEO, by altering the story it made Joshi believe that Parthiban is not LEO. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj itself said in an interview that the back story if from a third person's perspective so we cannot take it for real. Infact the real villain of this film is LEO aka Parthiban, this whole film is about the character study of LEO. Some unexplained things might unfold in the upcoming instalments in LCU. Lokesh's next film in LCU is going to be Kaithi 2 and LEO 2 is in the cards for him and it might happen anytime in future. In some action scenes you can clearly see his devil side coming out because LEO uses to be very brutal in his past. Personally I felt like the first half of the film was phenomenal and the second half could have been better. He is still lying to his family and friends, living under a mask and her would do anything to save his family. Also there is a theory that in the flashback Antony didn't really shoot LEO because there isn't any scar in Parthiban's body and Joshi would have noticed if there was any when he used the axe to hurt Parthiban's back, so it made Joshi beleive that Parthiban is not LEO.

The main part in Interval scene, you people made cut that scene reaction in RU-vid. Shame guys. The most goosebumps scene is interval but you avoided in RU-vid reaction version.

The backstory is what lowered the quality of this movie. It could be written in so many ways that would so be far more interesting (something like Tumko na bhool payenge with amnesia or his own movie like Theri). Lokesh wanted to be original but didn't really feel organic. Story seemed forced to make sense in 2nd half. Even when Leo reveals himself, there was no excitement to it. Expected more from Lokesh. This was very below avg
