The 3rd fighter offered to Colby is a mystery but whoever it was Colby said yes. He’s been saying yes & now he got called to be the back up & cut 18lbs on days notice & said yes to that too! You also remember he got de-ranked when he sat out, and It wasn't 7 years (It was only almost a year). Meanwhile Colby sits out for a year and a half, ducks contenders, and gets a title shot. It’s not about being a good man, it’s about being the best welterweight fighter. Usman cleared the division. He conquered Colby twice. If Leon wants the same respect Usman got then he needs to conquer Covington as well. But it seems like Leon is more interested in defending further down the ranks against a shorter Burns and an older Masvidal.
