Leon Wasn't The Only RPD Survivor? - Character Obsessed

I like the idea that the reason Kevin went to J’s bar in the first place is so he could potentially talk to Cindy. It’s REALLY cute.

Another fun facts about Kevin. If you explore the office in Desperate Times you can see that Kevin is always late and even Rita comments about it. He can pick up Leon's resume and he can comment along the lines of "so this is the new guy huh?" Which would indicate that they dont know each other much but observing the similarities of their uniforms most likely they would be partners. And Kevin can also unlock Jean's drawer

Kevin Ryman the reason Leon Kennedy got stuck in a secret agent job is pretty hilarious ngl. Wasn't it retconned later or w/e, or given more context, that Leon was basically forced into it? Meanwhile Kevin gets away Scott free. :^) While I don't like traditional sports much, Kevin being a marksman and loving baseball does make a very direct sense when you think about it. Especially in hindsight. Guy must've played it a bunch growing up and following speeding balls and trying to knock them out of the park. Given you not only have to hit a ball, but also hit it right to get it where you want it to go, Kevin treating the gun as another part of him makes so much sense. The face he's so carefree and lives in the now just really exacerbates that, as it's difficult to fire a gun when you have other things on your mind. Kevin is the near personification of no-thoughts head empty I guess. :V Poor Kevin needs the biggest therapy. I'm glad he never got slipped into the STARS issue, and I'm sure he feels glad about it in hindsight too once he realized everything that went down, especially in the future. While he was probably a hero able to get back in the field at any time given the T-Virus, he's probably fucking glad he didn't have to Leon it up in China during the gas explosion. I love the fact that Yoko has a crush on Kevin. I wonder how long it'd been going on for though. You think it's possible that before the Outbreak Yoko and Kevin had seen each other around the RPD even though they weren't supposed to? Or did she get the hots for him only that night and ongoing since he seemed like a big hulking protector? Kevin having a middleground relationship with Yoko DOES sound like an unrequited love. I wouldn't be surprised if George and Kevin have Depression Communion (drinking buddies like you said) every Sunday. Mark probably thinks Kevin is liable to get everyone killed because of how brash he is and not following orders. Probably hates his shit too due to him being a womanizer. When everyone's a zombie, debts no longer exist. Take that school system. Outbreakless Desert is too correct.

To play defense for ol' Christopher, he's also beaten Kevin in the marksmanship event before and Forest has beaten them both as well (or has at least beaten Kevin as Chris may or may not have been in STARS during that specific event). Kevin is more of an neck to neck rival to Chris (and Forest) I'd say.

Of all the characters Mark always stuck out to me the most for some reason, so its funny that he ironically has the worst relationship with the seeming main character of this game lol At least, Im assumming he's meant to be more of the figurehead being so similar to Leon? Another thing I noticed though is this guy gives me huge Carlito vibes from Dead Rising 1. The skilled marksmanship and hairstyles being similar make me wonder if Capcom got some inspiration from the other zombie IPs.. Although I could just be imagining it.

Outbreak is not canon, just some characters when capcom want it to, but good video
