Superb rendition of one of the most beautiful of all movie scores. So true to the spirit of the movie, the violence, sadness, tenderness. And On the Waterfront was a masterpiece of American realism.
This is Lennie at his best. This certainly ranks as one of the great film scores suitable for concert performance. The ending is a wonderful homage to Billy the Kid by Aaron Copland, his lover and mentor.
Wonderful piece of music. Not entirely surprising since it rips off significant segments of Copland's composition. This is rather more than quoting from or being inspired by Billy Kid; it simply plagiarizes another composer's week.
@@Mike-dk7wj He wouldn't be the first composer to rip someone else off. We all do it all the time. However, the borrowed material has be integrated into your own style.
@@ImVee10 No but I bet you are. You better lay off that crack pot and watch that overrated movie again. Just because that overacting overrated Brando was in it don't make it great. Have a nice day. Out.
@@murrayschiff8942 Not for me. It's overrated with a over acting actor in it. Don't get me wrong I love Brando in a lot of his roles especially The Godfather. Thanks for the comment. Out.
