This has to be one of the most unconventionally succesful relationships to ever occur.

Maybe one day, they can write a textbook or open a lecture on their love journey.

If I was Leonard after she proposed i would say "Penny i love you and yes I do want to marry you but a part of me can't help but think that this is just the alcohol and sadness talking right now. So I'll make you a deal we go to sleep and then tomorrow when it's a new day and if you can look me in the eyes and tell me without a single shred of doubt that you want to marry me for real then I will."

That proposal was so bad, it made Sheldon eventually made it look like a joke

Leonard and Penny are five or six years apart in age. Johnny and Kaley are a decade apart in age.

The way he told this story to the nerds at that comic con sounded way more impressive.
