@@Here_is_Waldo well if you watch the video you'll see it's pretty much towards the end of chapter 5 so I would check the last 2 vids of that chapter maybe ?
"Hit yet another little snag, and that was Windhelm. And not just because it was Windhelm." The disgust and utter disdain for Windhelm in his voice is great.
Surely it's because I just finished playing The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe... but the beginning of "This is the story of a man named Leonard." for sure gave me a sense of Deja-Vu. ^w^ Thanks for this recap/summary of Leonard's journey up until now, as it serves perfectly as a refresher. Looking forward to see his journey continue.
Leonard is the kind of character that you absolutely despise, and yet you enjoy doing so because he's just that ridiculous of a person that you can't help but laugh at his terrible self.
To whoever asked that question, I can't recommend enough that you go watch the previous chapters if you have time. Trust me, it's worth it you wont regret it.
As I look back upon Gopher's stable of characters, e.g., Stiv, Leonard, Jack, etc., there seems to be a 'moral flexibility' that most of them have in common. Most of them also seem to be quite at home in a Terry Pratchett novel, Leonard in particular. I cant speak for Godkrieg, or Gopher's nameless "evil illusionist" character, but i cant help but think all these characters are shards of Gopher's personality thst dont get aired out very often. Enough rambling: Leonard and Inigo ride again! 🍻
Ah, you forgot Richard. You know the guy who thought everyone was possibly a 'nice guy' until they shot him or ran at him with a sword. LOL Couldn't help but laugh at the "how do I know if he's really a bad guy" attitude. No moral flexibility there, I think.
@@Jimmyinvictus Well, I worry about Richard...(I'm old, I can't help but worry about things that have absolutely no bearing on anything) as most people seem to forget the poor guy. Sorry if I offended, didn't mean to. Honest.
@@Jimmyinvictus Oh, and so much fun! Thank goodness for Inigo, though! Our dear Leonard would be lost without him "kill it, kill it" Leonard screams! LOL
This was so awesome! I know it's to catch people up so they can start at the new chapter, but I would love another from Richard and, as sad and unclimactic as the ending was, Stiv! For Stiv; maybe it should end a little before you actually had to stop, but I don't exactly remember what Stiv was doing at the time, I just remember the circumstances. Stiv Gro-fur is and probably always will be my favorite character that you played in Skyrim and, as he is still the inspiration behind your logo, I think it would be an awesome throwback and would be a cool opportunity to show relatively new fans where the Let's Play's started
OK.... now I'm *definitely* going to rewatch the series; this was great! 😆 So many fun memories and moments! EDIT: And I did... Though, I will confess, I began at the "Torches, Torches Everywhere" episode, since that is when Inigo enters the story. Not that Leonard isn't great on his own, obviously, but I just love the way they play off of one another. Not to mention, Inigo is one of those wonderful mods that makes the whole world feel more alive, no matter the playthrough.
This was awesome! Also as I started watching it I went "and trousers" and then you said it and I grinned. And later on I went "and Thane of Everywhere" and you said it and yeah, a big grin. Great stuff! Also Leonard doing bard things to get his story out more so he can then go and become Emperor maybe would be a great thing to achieve. hehe
Oh, I am so with you on that one! It was good the first time, the second time allowed more outright laughter, the third time had me counting how many times he said "it's rare" (a trait he shared with his character Richard - who holds the record by and by) and now the fourth has me shaking my head as I just don't understand how it can be so very funny STILL!
He is an Politician(greedy bastard but sympathetic sometimes) and an Aristrocat buffon that is very good at posining people with a cat and i like him allot.
Wow, I had forgotten there has been that many chapters. That was a great recap. You really are a great story teller. Very much looking forward to this new chapter.
Tbh sounds like he's actually following perfectly in the footsteps of Hjalti/Tiber, who after all never met an ally he didnt think could do with a backstabbing
There's definitely the potential for more mod chapters. Particularly when Inigo v3 and Beyond Skyrim release. But there's no way Leonard is becoming a werewolf, so unless he mods that out then the Companions are out, and that's the only major questline left.
What’s the difference between flying pigs and honest politicians? There actually was a time when Swine Flu. What do you call a politician with a clear conscience? An Alzheimer's patient. Why do thieves never target politicians' homes? Professional courtesy.
I do hope that at some point Leonard will actually continue the main quest. ...if only to find out that Paarthunax was an ally all the time and he wasted said time he could have used getting a powerful ally.
