Lily Gladstone's character in this movie is one of my favorite female performances in all of cinema to date. I have never seen someone play such a reserved personality with such vibrance and nuance. Leo is right - all of those little bits of improv and expression led to such a unique relationship between the male and female lead, especially in their romance. I felt as though I was feeling her happinesses, pains, and resentments alongside her. What an incredible performance. Bravo, Lily. It is so clear how you have made your peoples proud.
They genuinely seem to have become good friends making this film, and she seems to be able to bring out the more lighthearted side in him when doing all the press stuff that he usually does not seem to enjoy
You can tell he’s very comfortable around her. I’ve seen him do interviews with other female co stars and he’s reserved or kinda distant but with Lily he look happy, energetic and enjoys a good laugh. It’s refreshing to see.
I love Leo always praising Lily, he seems to be in genuine awe of her every time he speaks about her. He puts her in the limelight and credits her with the success of the movie. I don’t know if he has ever done this with another co-star but in all fairness to Leo, I do not watch many interviews with him.
For the first time ever, 66 yrs and counting, I watched the OSCARS from beggining to end and then some, anticipating the moment Lily Gladstone won the OSCAR for best actress. Just bc of her, nobody else. She didn't get it this time but I’m not gonna lose faith. Eventually she will and I hope I'm still alive when it happens.
She caught the demand of the film. Rarely do actors command the viewers as she did. From her first entry to the end of the film, you cannot get her out of your mind.

One of the BEST movies ever! I saw it 3x and looked for everything I could find on the Osage murders and how the Government took from them. Such a sad history that should be taught in all schools.
Funny how Leo elaborate the whole meaning of the word improvise in such sarcastic way. I know most of the journals would have asked the same question again and again which in response get such answers in return and that's why lily laughs I guess. Bdw her laugh was so contagious. I would have died of laughter if I was her.😂😂
