The movie itself was good, but the most impacting moments of this film are when I sit at night pondering life, although I did that before, this definetely adds a twist to my messed up thoughts about life and the concept of reality.

why he hasn't got any oscars i'll never know!he is not one of this actors that deserve an oscar just for a perfomance in one movie he deserves a lot of oscars for his evolution as an actor!on the top of favorite actors!

Because Hollywood (or whoever gives awards) is only interested in what CONSUMERS think is good, what consumers think which actors are good. Consumers think Twilight is AWESOME. I think it fucking sucks. People don't value things with true value anymore. Most people are content with movies that just entertain or babysit them. Not me. I need psychological stimulation. That's why I love this movie.

Agreed. Honestly, the Twilight storyline is not even comparable to the thought that went into Inception. No contest. Most movies ARE BETTER THAN TWILIGHT. Dear Lord. I got pissed off when he asked that. Most of the characters just really aren't that deep at all. Not much work was put into them. It's all plot-based. Inception has a lot more character depth. That's what makes a movie. Plus, Inception puts you in a state of total brain-fuck. IT'S AWESOME.

I think I can consider Leo my favorite actor, now. Christopher Nolan is my #2 director behind Stanley Kubrick. However, if Batman 3 is anywhere near the quality of The Dark Night or Inception, I'll gladly move him up a notch. :3

I gotta tell ya, I used to think that Leo was a actor to be forgotten, but after seeing Inception i think he will be a great actor, even when he reaches 40 years, like Tom Hanks and others. He is turning to have his own style. Amazing!

@Caimille Yes, like the movie Thoroughly Modern Millie starring Julie Andrews, and Pat Morita (who played a Chinese, but he's really Japanese). I think the Japanese feel superior to the Chinese. In the movie that I will never see, Memoirs of A Geisha, Chinese actresses and actors played Japanese characters, so wrong. How was the movie? Didn't see it yet.

@theyummysockz Well it's lucky he wasn't just a pretty face then isn't it :) It's a testament to his acting that he can still clock up the audiences for multi million dollar blockbusters for someone who has 'aged badly' ;) For the record, I still think he's very attractive, and a lot of that is down to his down to earth personality. I'd take that over a self obsessed, brash 'heart throb' any day.

Also, the fact that he's so classy, eloquent, talented, down-to-earth and humble (phew! a lot of adjectives there!) add a lot to his attractiveness.

@rhmlulu I'm glad you love Leo, but it really took Shutter Island & Inception to make you see how amazing of an actor he is?? What about What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Basketball Diaries, Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Blood Diamond, The Departed, This Boy's Life...? To name a few :P lol. I think he's great in every movies he's ever been in! True talent right there.

Damn I feel sorry for Pattinson....he basically fucked up his career by appearing in all of the Twilight Movies..no matter what movie he appears in he'll always be refered to as sparkly. Leo's case is far different he was a heartthrob but through Titanic, a very well written and directed movie by James Cameron and moved on to make sophisticated and well directed films.

@mrjost55 Not all actors are drop dead gorgeous. Leo is charming but I wouldn't say he's the hottest man alive anymore... most people know him from when he was young and beyond sexy, but he's aged now. Actors just know how to act good on screen; he knows when to look good and how to pose right.

@AlphaDraconis7 Just a heads up, Ken Watanabe is Japanese... It can be hard to understand accents of any sort, but with that, I also feel I can't just watch this film once either to fully understand everything about the film. I definitely plan on checking it out again though. Twas a great movie.

@mrrepeat who knows...Robert is showing signs of potential in every movie he appears in...besides he is still young...he still has alot of chance to prove himself :). Same with Zac Efron too...they are just victims of teenage crazies..lol...but yet again..only time can tell :).

Stunning film!! Not a major fan of Diccaprio. Me too though of him more like bein only capable of acting pretty boy but here you go... Fantastic acting. And Chris Nolan too did outstanding job by creating such original film.

@Axl207 it means he didnt make it back because when he sees his kids he sees them as he sees them in his memory so he never made it back and his faces arent real theres going to be a sequal where they get him out

Im afraid , beacause the movie is so psychological that some people that are instable in their lives or are on drugs will be confused after ths movie and might commited sucide , cus they dont know what is realy anymore,.....

if this film would be directed by an american director there would be PLENTY of computeristic clips and alot of destructions that would destroy the film but luckily christopher nolan had the idea

i'd easily give leo actor of the 90's and even the new millenia. if my opinion matters, i haven't been upset with one performance from Basketball Diaries all the way up to Inception.

This movie was SO good. But at some parts a kinda felt retared cus I had no clue what was going on but at the end it was the BEST movie I have seen in a long time!! Great whriters

my ONLY problem with this movie was that i couldn't understand what the CHINESE guy (watanabe i think) was saying half the time...it was very difficult to understand his accent.

I doubt rob will reach leo's level of talent and acting success. Not that I hate him but leo's acting shines through from the first film he did while rob's acting skills don't exist

I doubt rob pattinson will reach leo's level of acting. Leo's talent shines through from the film he did and rob's acting skills so far are non-existing
