Back then you could only increase the weight by multiples of 2.5. Adding 0.5 was allowed only for breaking records, but it did not count towards the competition. Prior to this competition, WR was 265.5. So Tarenenko could take 266, 0.5kg more, but only 265 counted towards the total.
Lasha has outdone snatch and total already (all time).. perhaps the clean and jerk soon too.. :) technically, he would come under Soviet superheavies had he been in 1980s (Georgian)
when he catches the bottom portion of the clean he doesn't immediately try to bounce of the bottom going up to recover is it a more efficient way to catch the clean then front squat it up or catch it and try and use the bounce to get it up there?
