A typical yacht broker, temp control refers. That 4000 series cast iron MTU should have had a turbin installation

@@frankgumprecht Thanks for the reminder, I watched a similar size build video a couple years ago. If I recall not only is there the weight and fuel savings with the gas turbines they can be sized to massive HP and require such gear reduction to drop 20k RPMs to a 1k jet drive they can also drive secondary systems like air compressors and generators etc... and the turbine boat was a lot faster (fuel considered)...

@@paulpence8895 they use way more fuel though, are more delicate and maintenance intensive and cost a lot more up front. I'm not sure on the availability of fuel either.

Nice one, the exterior looks like a Mangusta and Palmer Johnson combination. The interior and especially the sleeping rooms look magnificent and only few things in the other areas look a little outdated. Overall it's a magnificent machine with very good engine upgrades and that stabilizers will definitely improve the life of the guests by a lot.

$20M - it's only a dream. But at $13M, I'm going to get up off my ass and work work work, cause this is do-able in my lifetime. What a wonderful value. It's going to sell quickly. Super unique - I also love your experience - explaining how I'd want factory fitted gyro's over after market made me realize I shouldn't even try to become a yacht broker - you're just so experienced, and this vid is incredible. Finally someone is shooting yacht vids like those TRI media Realtors make. Thank you for creating this video. Well done!

I agree about the considerations of the retrofitting of zero-speed(s) on a previously loved yacht to be a ridiculously expensive (and less effective) avenue to pursue. Shockingly expensive in fact. This is a stunning vessel Mr. Seal. Thanks for another beautifully edited production. I was quite surprised upon hearing that she was only a 46m ...my initial impression was was that she was over 50-55m. This changes my thoughts on how a similar length can be layed out. Finally... 35 knots! I’m certain that the price will be appropriately adjusted to achieve this impressive speed. Thanks again for the video.

I just saw the price. I didn’t realize that she was built in 2011. And the price is NOT insane. I doubt she will not last long on the market. I think she is could be quite the bargain (when considering current prices of new or commissioning)

“Gyroscopical” zero-speed? Virtually all? Maybe - but not all that I have looked into. I may be wrong. So that was why I looked into retrofitting costs (below 45m). Like I said ... ridiculously expensive.

It turns out the engine has so much power the driver could jump waves in a storm. They lost most of them upper deck cushions and a pair of kids got broke in the hull. Also could you imagine the size of the dipstick in that motor!

The commission is probably 1% Maybe are half of 1% you have to understand they only work on commission and God knows how many they sell a year we have to remember billionaires buy yachts

@@rodneypratt4324 Nope yacht broker commission is 10%. Resesrch it. Average a good broker makes $120 to $295k year. I am sure it varies, but do the math. You don't have to sell many million dollar yachts to have a good year. Most Yachts are under a million, but those sell faster. Of course economy goes to crap sales do to.

Beautifull! I like the harmonic compartmentization of the deck elements. Lounge in the center, with seating at the sunbath platform and view 🤩 Exellently thought through by the design team!!! Sporty decent cockpit, wich is good! Appears elegant and sporty. The black boundry around the hull at the rear at 9:09 reminds me at the USS. Enterprise Galaxy Class sensor phalanx. Maybe one could add IR sensors and proximity sensors and lighting... Interesting might also be mini non lethal automatic tracking EM microwave emitters to repell perhaps bandits at sea. Maybe even a safe room and knockout gas after panic button has been pressed by the cockpit of engine room and silent countdown, in case of pirate boarding! New baths, new kitchen, new cockpit displays, new name. Perhaps addind expandable solar panels. Wouldn't it be great to have Hydrogen fuelled engines one could generate by one self from Sea water like some Subs ?

You explained once about the heat problems caused by dark colors. Since I see a lot of boats with dark colors on your channel I was wondering if besides personal preference do dark colors actually provide any advantages? Finally in observing all the yachts that are up for sale and/or charter and the frequency of sales I’m wondering what your thoughts are on the old adage that there are two happy days in a boat owners life- the day he buys and the happy day when he sells.

Dark hulls expand and shrink more than do lighter colored hulls because they absorb more heat. They also cause you to use more air conditioning for a given sized yacht than would a white or light colored hull. As far as I know there are no real advantages to having a dark colored hull. For one, they are harder to see in reduced light so a chance of collision with another vessel is increased, also if you are stranded at sea without power it is more difficult to spot from another surface vessel or aircraft. Another negative is that water spots and dirt show up much more so on dark than light hulls with the one exception of diesel soot and ash which will darken a light colored hull quite visibly and rather quickly too. As for the sellers/buyers delight with boats, it has been my experience that both days are on about an equal footing.
