Yes, an absolute rarity! It does happen from time to time, from my knowledge and experiences, when a perfect shoulder shot hits the buffalo and it is completely unaware of the hunt...it happens. Be weary though, because if its a high spine or close neck shot, it'll go down but be prepared to back up finishing shots quickly, as it could get up in a blink and be off & away...or head your direction. Also known as socialist, Marxist, progressives, or also known as Karen’s and or control freaks. Again myself and millions of others world wide enjoy hunting and respect what big game hunters like you do for the habitat and preservation of these game animals, god bless.
