Ging most likely let Leorio land that punch, but I will bet anything that Ging was not expecting the power behind it. He literally got thrown for a loop. In the Manga, it showed Leorio was naturally physically stronger than Gon or Kurapika, able to lift twice the weight of Gon early on. This was taken out of the anime for some reason, but if Leorio kept up any kind of physical training off screen, then that punch was probably strong enough to kill an elephant.
Spoiler As you said about manga Ging is copycat and learn leorio attack and he can learn anyone attack just need to seee Like how chorollo Use books to learn new nen abilities Ging is gon father and ging is finding his dad who is like old man of ancient times . Sorry for spoilers
by the way, there was a weird mistranslation here. for some reason, it was translated as "can I kill Killua?", but what Hisoka actually said was "can I 'do' Killua?", obvious implication, hence why Illumi was so mad even beyond something like murder which is bad enough. adds extra characterization to both Hisoka and Illumi to know Hisoka was implying something worse than death.
It's not a weird translation, it's correct. Can I do killua means "can I kill Killua" (just like you'd say "can I do him in" in English) in that context. It just happens that it was a joke with a double entendre that also implied sex, but the fact that the sex part is the double entendre only works because the "main" meaning is "can I kill Killua" (hence the term double entendre, it had two meanings).
@@Green-3c34y65vrbu I mean sure but try to find better... A sentence that menas both "kill" and "have sex with", that's about the same duration as the sentence so that the subtitles aren't too quick to read and that feels well written and perfectly natural and not "forced" in order to have both meaning.
Actually we saw a guy with power very similar to Leorio's. Remember fifteen pirates in Greed Island? One of them was a boxer and he teleported his uppercut to win in a fight.
It's obvious Ging took that hit purposefully. He is Gon's dad after all, he's powerful being in the Zodiacs. It was so epic seeing Leorio finally develop his own cool Nen technique though and let out his anger towards Ging.
@@speedrunner3312 And as a big brother such as Leorio has the right idea to stand up and beat the shit out of Ging as a father who refuse to see his son Gon in the hospital.
@@johnsantos507 Land a hit on him? Sure. Beat him up? Not a chance lmao. Ging would've put Leorio in the hospital if he actually fought him. It was very heartwarming to see Leorio stand up for his very good friend Gon.
Is she Filipina? Cause us Filipino kids grew up watching anime. Literally back then the biggest TV stations in Philippines prime time shows are animes, like 5-7pm when kids just got home from school and everyones dinner time, TV channels are showing anime. Anime is so big in the Ph, part of the culture.
