I got a motorcycle a month ago for practical reasons and it serves all my purpose really well even more than I expected. There’s a SV650 on sale in the neighborhood and boy I cannot get my eyes off it. Financially it doesn’t make any sense as of now but man this beauty is just stuck in my mind. I currently have a yoshimura on and I've been eyeing this exhaust for my SV for months now. I'm thinking of getting one. Did you have to do a tune on it once baffle is removed? Any louder than usual bangs experienced? Any changes in performance? Sorry for multiple questions asked, your bike sounds good.
Nope no tune after the fact and no noticeable change in performance or behavior. If I cut the throttle abruptly it'll pop a little bit but nothing aggressive at all. I can't recommend this slip on enough, zero issues, just a better sound.
I don’t think it’s too loud, no. It might be a bit much for late night idling in your driveway but it’s not any louder than a big hemi truck pulling past.
