Thank you for the suggestion @luguerino!! Leprous is a five piece progressive metal band hailing from the metal town of Notodden, Norway, home of bands such as Emperor, Zyklon, Ihsahn, CIrcus Maximus, and many more.
Since Leprous was founded in 2001, they've gone through a few changes in the line-up, and now consists of Einar Solberg (synth/🏖), Tor Oddmund Suhrke (guitar), Simen Børven (bass), Robin Ognedal (guitar) and Baard Kolstad (drums)

I listen to Leprous daily. I can't stop. This song is a gem, and in my opinion one of the most beautiful songs written. Einar Solberg's voice is unmatched.

Einars voice is absolute butter. The whole band builds to this big climax then slows hack down. This what all done in one take by the way. Great reaction!! 👍🏻

It was the literal studio version. They have a great discography with Malina being my all-time favorite album. It would probably be good to go with Slave (Live) or react to Rewind or The Sky is Red studio versions

His participation on Esa Holopainen album - Silver lake is wonderful and worth listening to. The song Einar recorded was Ray Of Light. Just wonderful. By the way, the entire album is magnificent.

I wish there was a good version of The Architect on RU-vid. I haven't been able to find one. It was Einar Solberg's contribution to Haken's The Architect that introduced me to Leprous.

You should really listen to Kristin Starkey's vocal cover of this song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qZVLUNMj7RA.htmlfeature=shared Read the comments there and you understand why I wholeheartedly recommend it. Einar has beautiful voice and incredible range and he actually really nails this song, but I don't get quite the same physical vibes from his performance as from that of Kristin's. Kristin's version has stronger contrast on open and closed vowels and that most likely makes the difference.

I did enjoy this over all. I followed along in the transcript but the song seemed a little repetitive. I couldn’t quite follow the meaning but my brain is distracted. I really did enjoy the guitar and the music. Kinda calming. Over all not bad. Thank you for the play and always your reactions. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏
