Thanks. Any good source for spline shaft bushings and gear shaft bushings? My neighbor has 2. one has worn bushings and 1 doesn't start in neutral. Update: Got needle bearings and O-ring for input shaft, and noticed the kill switch was gutted just like yours on the old trans. Not sure why they send it with a ball in the kill switch that activates it in neutral. Maybe a different use?
Odd question for a different application of these Transmissions: if you spin the input shaft one way the output shaft turns a certain way. If you turn the input shaft the opposite way does the output shaft likewise turn the opposite direction? Nice video, thank you very much.

I need your help; please tell me what to do, I have a 36" SCAG walk behind (like 2 years old with no much use) looks like brand new but is very slow, missing lots of power specially when going up in a hill or even when loading up in my trailler, runs great in flat areas and also after runing for 20 or until is warm. Sounds like you have belt slippage. Get yourself a aerosol can of "belt dressing" and spray your trans drive belt underneath the deck with the engine on and trans in neutral. Then use a small bottle jack and raise the wheels off the ground, engine must be running, put trans in 1st gear and use the belt dressing on your side drive belts for about 1 to 2 revolutions of the belt on both sides. Put trans in neutral, lower the jack and go for a ride. It should now feel like you have "shaft drive". Let me know how it worked.
