I think you simply don't have these sounds in your language so you can't hear the difference. The only thing you can do is spend a lot of time listening to the sounds 😕
You’re right, many Parisian people say the word « cent » as « son ». Fortunately in Northern French, the distinction is clearer, “en” is more open than “on”, “en” is close to “ah”, but “on” is close to “oh”.
It bothers me that French people accidentally pronounce "en" as "ɑ̃" instead of ɛn when they say "en". So with words like "envole", "en effect" etc., you always pronounce the "en" as "ɛn" instead of "ɑ̃"" and that is killing me😭😭😭
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane In words like "envoler" people prononce the "en" as ɑ̃" instead of ɛn. They say "ɛn.vɔ.le" instead of "ɑ̃.vɔ.le" And this makes me sad
But the IPA of envoler is /ɑ̃.vɔ.le/- You can do a quick search on google - Where did if you find the IPA that you described? Because that's definitely not right.
I have never heard anyone pronounce what you describe. I don't know I might just not understand what you are talking about, I am quite confused. (edit for spelling 😅)
