Good video. Unfortunately my AC is not from any of the manufacturers that ESPHome supports, so I was hoping you'd cover how to decode the raw data. :-)

find out what code your air conditioner using, then see here : esphome.io/components/remote_transmitter.html#remote-transmitter-actions send command as your IR type command.

This is a great video, sir. I have one problem that I haven't been able to solve yet. My O General AC remote data is not working when sent from ESPHome using an ESP32. I've obtained around 10 different types of data, and one works for turning the AC on and off. However, when I try the data for setting the temperature like 28,27,25, I try 10 time different data , but it still doesn't work. Can you please help me identify the problem or what might be wrong? It would be greatly appreciated if you could assist in resolving this issue.

Other AC encode code work good , but problem with O General AC remote encode code not working , when i press AC remote on get code in esphome ok , but when this code send back from esphome esp 32 not working, If i press on butoon and get different code every time , so i try around 10 different data then 1 code working

what distance your IR cover? in general IR cover short distance and where are you going to install your logical controller to control your TV?

about 6-8 meter. The infrared emitting tube can be extended.

@@kodjoaziaka6137 this video tour is use by KC868-A4 board. if you want to control air conditioner in living room. suggest use KC868-G . not need connect with our KC868-COLB logical controller, only use by wifi connect to router is ok.

@@kodjoaziaka6137 KC868-A4 is for learning how to send IR. if you want use A4 control your IR device, you can extend the Infrared emitting tube in front of your IR device. now we will develop IR device based on ESP32 soon. that appearance is better. A4 just a PCB.
