This is very inspiring. I remember when I first started costuming I went immediately for the big fancy complicated ones before I was very confident in my sewing abilities, and it stressed me out beyond oblivion. I switched to more simple costume designs, simple ones with easy to sew and simple lines. As I got more confidence and skill with it, I ramped up the detail. I still have fairly simple lines and uncomplicated patterns, because I found that I enjoy that kind of style. My complicated detail work is now all in the embroidery. Large simple panels means I can easily cover the whole costume in gorgeous embroidery that will get seen. It ends up making the costume look way more complicated than it really is (not saying large scale embroidery isn't complicated). It looks like I am a master seamstress, but really, all my costumes require is some basic level sewing skills and enough patience to work with an embroidery machine. Do what you can, then grow it. Sometimes it's the simple stuff that looks the best.

MUMBO!!! i recently built my own custom anamorphic kit!! got some vintage russian lenses ranging from 40mm to 90mm, and an ultra blue star projection lens!! i got a single focus solution aswell!!!!! so hyped. anamorphic looks so goood!

Mumbo is honestly so inspiring to me. I'd love to get into photography and film making but it's so hard! I'm still trying and this has really given me a boost of inspiration. Thank you mumbo!

Watched the music video, and loved it. The only thing that caught my eye/pulled me out of it was that the artist itself isn't really like... I don't know how to most accurately put it, but he wasn't the best actor. I know, everyone can't be a magical multitalent like Mumbo, but yeah. the 2:43 part from the music video is the one I'm talking about to be more specific. Probably could've sold it better if he wasn't singing that part, but just silently looking at the photos, so that he could sell the emotion better, but what can you do (a lot of 'firsts' for everyone). Great job nonetheless !
