Bro, agreed on what you said about trading, but i want to correct it First of all traders do not provide any value it is wrong Basically they provide liquidity, which is the most important thing in market otherwise investors, AMC won't be able to buy or sell shares because there is no other seller or buyer in the market at that time or if there would be somebody they would have to pay huge huge huge spread. Second, it is basically not a zero sum game. Because wealth is created in stocks so saying that one loses and other wins that amount, is wrong. Third top hft firms make profit very less in market if we compare it to fpi(hedge funds), institutional investors, banks, etc make huge chunk of money and they usually trap most of the retail traders.(by using dirty tricks also like spreading some kind of news on so called channels like cnbc etc). Last, i don't know much about hft, but i think they make money using spreads i.e. by basically providing liquidity (in other words market making) because I have not heard of any directional trades taken in hft.
Wow! some fresh perspective. What you said is mostly correct. Maybe in video it didn’t came out properly, what I meant was - to discourage freshers entering into trading with little capital. A lot of people are promoting trading as a life changing opportunity, well it’s not. Focus should be on wealth creation in your early career
Hi Piyush, I'm a recent graduate and have applied to many opportunities. I really find your advice valuable, though there's one point I respectfully disagree with. I don't think hiring decisions should be based on numerology or date of birth. I believe a person's skills and the value they can bring to a team cannot be determined this way. I think anyone applying for an opportunity is likely in need. Thanks for understanding!
Totally agreed, and I think ki yaar dob se us person ke nature ka kya lena dena, that only depends upon conditioning and circumstances through which he/she went till that age.
