Lessons in Magecraft 36 - Beasts of Humanity 

CORRECTION! This is an older video. Since the release of lostbelt 7 in Japan, we've confirmed that ORT is NOT Type Mercury. Instead, that was speculation until now.

I've noticed that the counterforce gave us 1(technically 2) grand servant for 1 beast that we faced and that was in Babylonia. All the other beasts sat right outside the counterforces jurisdiction. 1. Goetia was in the temple of time. 2. Kiara was in the mooncell 3. Kama was in a ooku in separate dimension. 4. Orion was summoned to help us against the Olympic gods and Koyanskaya wasn't a matured beast that warranted the counterforces attention. She matured outside the dimension. It feels much easier for any beast to mature first in another dimension before appearing to wreak havoc, or destroy everything from another dimension.

ma boi Arthur is chasing Beast 6 while the Artorias are either tasked to destroy the grail or be an antagonist of certain timelines. *bruh King Arthur just never gets a break*

Goetia has the coolest Beast design. Also, I’ve said this before, but I’m seriously going to be disappointed if King Arthur (or a variation of him) is not made Grand Saber despite being the only non-Grand Servant tasked with hunting down Beast of Humanity.

I know he was briefly covered, but could we get a lesson on the owner of the Kaleidoscope Zelretch? A large portion that happens in Fate/Type Moon, whether directly or happenstance, is by his actions. His list of accomplishments is staggering across multiple worlds.

My only critiques are that Goetia is possessing Romani’s corpse and Fou is still a threat as he’s constantly regaining strength just by being near humans. Other than that, this was a great and informative video.

It would be interesting to see the master of chaldea temporarily become an infant beast. It could even result in a story locked servant based off the player manifesting once removed

This series is literally my drugs now.

The speculation I heard is that Beast V is the fully awakened Angra Mainyu that Shirou stopped at the end of the Heavens Feel route. He should also be at the heart the still burning of Singularity F, meaning that Part 2 could well end with us having to stop Kirei from awakening Angra Mainyu again. That was all before Lostbelt 7, though, so I don't know if that speculation is still valid or not.

This is the only college class I would like to attend.

This is entirely speculation on my part, but I believe Beast V is Proto Merlin, since she has been called the Beast of the Earth

So in laymance terms. Beasts aren’t pure evil. Their pretty much Kiritsugu if his methods went from a 10 to a 666. Or in more laymance terms their ending everything while wanting to save/protect everything.

Let's not forget the grand beast. Gudako, the beast of gacha.

I think you left out one of the more important aspects of Beasts: they aren't a threat to destroy humanity, they're a threat to be overcome by humanity. Their very nature is to be defeated.

Angra Mainyu should have relation to Beast 5, wheater as Beast itself or even possibly a Grand. Also EMIYA Alter literally has IV on his back, that has to mean something. Type Moon Beasts are still connected to the 7 sins + Vainglory and also possibly Melancholy Goetia's Pity can be interpreted as Pride. Tiamat Regression - Vainglory Passion - Lust Comparison - Envy or Greed Sodom's Beast - either Sloth or Gluttony Alien God is unknown.

15:28 quick correction. Beast 6 has 4 parts 6/L, 6/R, 6/S, 6/G. The whore of babylon riding atop the seven headed, ten horned beast is 6/S. Beast 666 is part of 6 but its not the sole beast occupying that position.

The Beasts of Humanity seats are not tied to a specific sin. For example, Fou, the former Beast IV, is the Beast of Comparison. However, Koyanskaya, the second known Beast IV, represents the sin of Cherishment. It's often thought that what each number means is either how to defeat them, or how they became a Beast. Using Beast IV once more, Fou could not be beaten through fighting, as fighting is in the nature of Primates, which he exists specifically to kill. Koyanskaya, as well, also cannot be defeated through combat, as she is the embodiment of multiple animals, and fighting for survival is also in an animals nature, humans included. As such, Fou had to be talked to or bonded with to defeated, and Koyanskaya was defeated by being given her own sanctuary where she could raise animals.

I wonder how powerful a non-mage human could get in the nasuverse I'm curious about this because as far as I can tell it seems like non-mage human's are just kind of doomed to be weaker than mages but even if they are I still think it's interesting to see how far hard work can get you in the nasuverse in terms of fighting power.

Honestly, Koyanskaya origin was whack and her story in Tunguska was rushed. People were hyping for a long time that this evil Tamamo should be Daji. But it turns out, it was a new face. More so that her origin were complete bruh - I mean the animals that died on Tunguska blamed the humans when they been living in an isolated region that rarely visited by anyone. It's sad that Koyan also admitted that her makers that created her as a Nature Spirit are dumbass. I wish the plot of her origin should be more sublime and understandable. Not filled with holes and tacky context.

For the algorithm

I was under the impression that Grand Servants is just a title when summoned, and all candidates…are just candidates the world selects would be the most useful summoned at the time. Like for grand caster, if the world needed someone that can see the past, present, or future, the world could select one from Solomon, Merlin, or Gilgamesh But apparently people keep telling me that the grand servants are constantly the same person until the servant in question is no longer available like Solomon Could you in the future explain this in detail

Yoh, kinda old video but I gotta a question, Does Camazotz count as a beast? In the game he has this title and we fought him as a beast, but in the tops even in the wiki he doesnt appear like one.

Spoilers: Lostbelt 7 U-Olga Marie's status as Beast VII is in question, since she has alignment Lawful Good and the skill , 「Defender Of Humanity」instead of Chaotic Evil alignment and 「Authority Of Beast」and no Nega Skill. And a new Evil of Humanity has emerged- Camazotz: Beast Of Oblivion 「REDACTED」, it was revealed that after mass extinction event happened, the Will of The World prepared a new seperate dimension under the planet's surface with an artificial sun, for intelligent dinosaurs and humanity to live, but after ORT awakened, it destroyed the artificial sun, whole humanity committed mass suicide in order to grant Camazotz immortality in order to defeat ORT. Camazotz defeated ORT after fighting it for million years and tore out Its core and made it the Lostbelt Sun Goddess and Lostbelt King Kukulkan's new Divine Core, making her by extension a new species of ORT- ORT Xibalba. After Protagonist mocks Camazotz that his subjects' sacrifice was for nothing as his world was never meant to exist in first place, he reverts back to his Beast form. After Daybit Sem Void awakens the ORT by making it assimilate the Fantasy Tree in order to compensate for its lost core, it's Marble Phantasm changes from Crystal Valley to Sea Of Fantasy Trees, turning every plant in Lostbelt into a Fantasy Tree. After assimilating many servants in Fujimaru's command in its fight against Chaldea, and due to ORT having vampiric ability of gaining traits of its victims, it gains concept of death, but learns all about humanity and Magecraft, learns 「Ritual: Heroic Spirit Summon」, creates its own history to serve as a foundation for its own summoning for 「Grand Summoning Vessel Aether: Designated Summoning of the Heroic Spirits of the Grand Class」and summons itself as 「Grand Foreigner」seconds after being destroyed by Chaldea's Hume Barrel Rayproof 「Excalibur」and first words it's says, " Nothing Personal, Kid". But Kukulkan sacrifices herself in order to defeat ORT since ORT can defeat ORT and they are both linked.

I will never understand why Nasu portrayed Amaterasu the way they did, she is supposed to be the heavenly mother of Japan, that protects and nurtures the people with the divine light of the sun, here she is self-serving and cares for nothing but her own amusement and would happily wipe humanity out on a random whim. I also am confused on the Alien God's nature as a beast, as they are supposed to hold a love for humanity and be born of human nature, they however are as stated, an alien entity, that up until the Lost belt's, never even knew about us, so how can they love humanity, or represent a sin of humanity, if there is nothing about them that has anything to do with humanity? Literally the only thing connecting them to humanity is their vessel looking like Olga, and their unusual knowledge of human phrases and customs.

For those who are wondering who is the weakest to strongest beast (which I doubt you want to know but will still try to comment here because I am bored) 1) Whore of babylon - Has the highest saintsgraph in all of the beast - Her weaker form could do a AAS lvl attack 2) Tiamat - Even after all of the nerf that she got she still is able to make an attack that rivals Lord camelot the same lord camelot that is able to block AAS -Stated by the lion king to be a more dangerous being than goetia even tho she have a good amount of knowledge of him - we basically never saw her at full power 3) Goetia - Been stated to be the most powerful being that chaldea fought ( Not more powerful than full power tiamat as they never fought her at her strongest and the same could be said by chaos as its basically us trying to survive) 4) Alien god - has 3rd planetary saintsgraph - Stated to be 2nd only to goetia - Her current body can't handle her full power so she might get higher - She is trying to absorb ORT if she is able to do that she would be number 1 5) Koyanskaya (currently) - in her 5 tail form it is stated that she could bring down the Olympus lostbelt in her anger - She could absorb the alien god 6) Kiara and kama Extra) Fou/ Cath palug (could be number 1) - He is capable of killing humans the same rate as ORT - Arcuied stated that him + Altrouge is more dangerous than crimson moon tho I don't know if you could take this as them above him in power but its still a good feat as crimson moon rivals arcuied in power and in my opinion is above ORT even if he is not its still an ultimate one
