Jack Noseworthy was originally cast as Armand in SF, but replaced by Drew Sarich (Hugh's understudy for Lestat) after a few days. Drew played Armand in NYC. During the show's last few days, Hugh was out sick and Drew took the role of Lestat for two and a half performances. Hugh recovered in time for the final show.
That clears alot up! I only wish that the show wasn't pulled. It seems beautiful in both versions! DAMN WARNER BOTHERS!!! They took it off!!! Then didn't even release a cd!!! I just had to vent...lol!
@ChristineDaae000 isn't nicki dead? after the last line i think Lestat says something like "yes, i seem to have a talent for that"(paraphrased), talking about how nicki went insane and got killed and Gabriel left him.
@live4twilight4ever well Nicki is indeed dead by this time, but Lestat say he has a weakness for picking people to join him, so all in all you are right, in the play Nick indeed go insane, but in the book he just became anger and lestat grow sick of him lol
thinking about how sam reid has seen this specific clip enough times to be able to sing parts of this song in an interview. op i think amc should send you a fruit basket or something
i love lestat but maybe one of teh reasons it didn't do well is they kept changing things: lyrics, melody, etc. Like this version is more energetic than the one i'm used to. i love everything about lestat but all the changes might have been the problem
