Great song, I'm sad I couldn't see this with this cast live. But, one thing, I'm on Lestat's side compared to Interview with the Vampire. Thanks for the clip
Broadway killed this show. It should never have gone to Broadway. Awesome show, but the producers should have realized it would never have more than a cult following. Broadway audiences ate it alive (pun intended).
@alyslikesfao Elton said there were no plans :-( Seriously this show was AMAZING!!! I saw it on Broadway the day before it closed and I STILL talk about it as if I saw it yesterday XD
Yeah, that was a bad decision. They should have released the recording. Especially since it's already complete and all. Given all the people who are STILL eager to own it, they could have made fairly decent sales. Here's hoping they change their minds eventually, since I can pretty much guarantee that they wouldn't LOSE money by releasing it.
Hello... All of the musical is here. Type in Drew Tastel ( Lestat backwards) for the New York Version.. Drew plays Lestat instead of Armand in this version of the Musical. Type in SF Tastel for this version.
@vampire0b20 In the book version of Interview with the Vampire there were 2 female vampires in Armand's Theatre des Vampires. I think their names were Celeste and Estelle.
...geez, I was just making a comment. I didn't answer your question because I didn't *know* the answer to it, as this is the only version of the SF version I have seen.
Really? This is the SF version, though, isn't it, which had someone else be Armand before Drew got the part in NYC? *shrugs* I'm not sure, of course, but watching this I think that Drew is the taller one with the grey streak in his hair. Could be wrong, of course.
