Violin played by eastern European gypsies is captivating who ever plays violin like this is supernaturally talented to get this feeling across to people's soul. I didn't like the movie much.. but the music was everything you could feel the agony of the vampires which Anne Rice's books were so famous for. One addition to this video would be when Lestat plays violin with the gypsy girl on the beach.

I heard it’s because the first half of the movie is about the second book, The Vampire Lestat, while the second half is the third book the movie is actually named after. -Two books in one while the timeline goes back and forth between the books.
I just wish she had confronted R. Kelly instead of standing her ground alone injured to the point of disabikity for the sake of her afflicted family. She was violated & scared........with her very name as the catalyst signed as if married...... ♥️♦️♠️♣️🃏🃏🃏🃏
it fits better seeing as the true ancient ones happened to be black...facts that escaped Rice in her awesome writing..she may have envisioned herself in the character as you seem to desire...it's cool..but in reality, those most ancient on earth are the black humans. peace and enjoy your day..or evening.
Just because an african american woman was cast , does not necessarily mean Aaliyah was portraying Akasha as black woman the monolithic race is known today. Egyptian rule aside, much like Cleopatra, Akasha married into the kingdom as a political union, so she wasn’t even north African, but this doesn’t mean Aaliyah is incapable of portraying an ethnic woman from a nation long gone.
