It’s time to celebrate some Pipe and a Pour milestones! And what better way to celebrate a birthday, my 1 year anniversary presenting in the YTPC AND moving past the 500+ subs mark than with a giveaway!?!?
Pipe: Morgan Bones French Bulldog
Blend: Sam. Gawith Full Virginia Flake (aged)
Pour: Pinhook 2021 Bourbon Heist - 98 proof, bright citrus on the nose, butterscotch with sweet citrus on the palate
You could win a Morgan Bones French a bulldog like the one I enjoyed here, as well as a tin of your selected blend as well as some add’l samples!
VRs get 2 entries each, 1 entry for comments!
You answer answer either or both of these questions:
1) Your most unique pipe? Show-and-tell - show it to us, talk about what makes it unique, how did it come into your possession, etc.
2) Your worst smoke? What was it?! What made it so bad? Did the pipe/environment/company/etc influence the experience?!
Must be 21+ YOA and be subbed to my channel! International friends - should you win, we’ll work something out!

You were missed, but I'm glad you're feeling better! Thanks for the great content for this new pipe smoker (and long-time bourbon drinker). Your ease and encouragement are music to my ears- plus I think of you as a neighbor since we're both in Middle Tennessee. I'm so new to the pipe world, I only have one pipe (hopefully that will change soon) so it's definitely my most unique… a Savinelli Extra 602. I got it 20+ years ago at the old UpTown's Smoke Shop in Green Hills- smoked it a few times and put it down. Only about 6 months ago did I get the bug again to try it out. Maybe it's my age, or season of life, but to SLOW DOWN and clear my schedule and mind to smoke my pipe has been a great thing for me. My worst smoke? None have been terrible, but through the trial and error of choosing tobacco, packing, lighting, etc., I found out this week that watching baseball is much more in line with pipe smoking than hockey is! I freight-trained through my pipe the other night watching playoff hockey- too much tension and excitement to slow down and take it easy. Lesson learned. Keep up the great work! Would love to share a "pipe and a pour" with you some day. Cheers!

Mike! Great to meet you neighbor - really appreciate you stopping by and dropping a comment! I am hoping that some of us that are local-ish to middle TN can pull a meet-up together before too long!?! True story - I bought my first pipe and tin of tobacco at UpTown's too - a long-gone Peterson churchwarden and an english blend called Baskerville Hound! Good to have you back into the pipe community - take it slow, don't try to play catch up with the guys who have been smoking a pipe for 20+ years and take your time figuring out what you actually like (you don't have to like what everyone else likes!). Welcome aboard, my friend!

Congratulations Donny. 500 is a big milestone. My most unusual pipe is my twisted falcon. I bought it because it was invented by an engineer in Fort Wayne, Indiana. And since I was born and raised in Vincennes Indiana, I wanted to have one of those those pipes. My sister still lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My other interesting pipe is called a cannonball that I purchased at this year‘s Mule town pipe show. It looks kind of like a cannonball. My worst tobacco has to be haunted bookshop plus almost all of the aromatics I’ve ever tried. You have a blessed weekend, my friend. Video response to come.

Oh man that shape is awesome! Happy Bday and Congrats! 1) I would say my most unique pipe is one of my two Neal Monier pipes, as they are my only custom/commissioned pipes. 2) I can't even remember a bad smoke! Maybe some that were less blissful than others, but nothing too terrible!

Hey Donny! Awesome video, my friend! I’m going to do a VR, but wanted to give my answers here too! My most unique pipe is a Meerschaum Churchwarden that I bought while on vacation in San Luis Obispo, CA, at a place called “The Sanctuary” pipe shop! The worst smoke that I have ever had was with some Sir Walter Raleigh that I purchased. I bought a lot of 10 or 12 pouches. Opened them all and put in a large mason jar. When I opened that puppy up, it was a vinegar blast to the nose. The smoke was even worse. I should have tossed it all, but being very frugal by nature, I still have it, hoping that some day it will become smokeable, haha! Take care buddy!

My most unique pipe is the MacQueen Ranger pipe. I chose cherrywood because it most likely would've been available in Middle Earth as a "period correct" wood. It's a great pipe. I really should smoke it more often. In regards to English blends, since you like Shepherd's Pie, you will love SPC's Seattle Evening. Put it on your list... you won't regret it. Appreciate your videos!

Beans has a must watch channel and an epic cellar I'm betting. Not to mention his whiskey collection. SG Virginia flake is great, but I'm guessing that we'll aged stuff is awesome. I look forward to watching your English blend series. I've never had Pinhook, but it looks good. I agree that mature discourse is great and and anger has no place in a mature discussion. I'll leave a vr this weekend hopefully, but it's going to be boring. Lol

Great looking Bones pipe too! so many bad smokes, my worst tasting one was on a lunch break trying a fresh pouch of Borkum Riff Black cavendish.. i swear i tried to spit the whole taste out of my mouth man. i gave to a guys who rolls his own cigarettes and will smoke anything. he rolled one and threw it all away. must have been a bad batch. but VR to come!
