Luca, after a heart attack I had to go to cardiac therapy for 12 weeks. Part of the program included a session on depression because it is common for people to experience it, especially those of us that were close to death. Facing mortality head on definitely affects a person and it takes time to heal both physically and mentally. Finding out through the cardiac therapy that what I was feeling was normal and it was okay to mourn how my carefree life was before, it helped me a lot. Talking to someone with experience on this or even reading articles or books may help bring back some peace into your spirit. The twinkle in your eyes will return, I promise.❤️

Thank you for sharing some of the ways trauma and illness can make us feel we are not as in control of our bodies and mental health as we had always been accustomed. (I have had somewhat similar uncertainties and need to be cautious with vertigo and balance issues these past 18 months. You are more than your health challeges. And you encourage and receive strength the more you can be open and creative in response to the new normal. At least that is my lesson from this week. Health and happiness to you as you take a break! For as long as you need!
We care about you, and you may not understand that those of us who follow you regularly know how you are feeling from the way you both look, sometimes tired, sometimes worried, sometimes excited etc. and always loving. Its fine with us how much you want to share but speaking for myself I love seeing where you live and all the work you do including your renovations. Luce is a star. I have had health issues for the last 15 years. I understand how you are feeling. I took care of my health and still ended up with a heart attack that nearly killed me. I have serious back pain. It is ok to express how you’re feeling, as long as you’re comfortable. You should only share what you’re comfortable with. The ups and downs are a normal part of life! Positivity is what get gets us through life!🙏❤️🇨🇦

My Aorta ruptured in 2017, i almost died, and since then i am always afraid of recurring! My doctor told me its PTSD, i am sure its the same for you Luca! I wish you all good health and happiness 😊

Yes, life is not complete if you do not have your health. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, had surgery and treatment following diagnosis. For two weeks I didn’t know what type of breast cancer (there are 6 types) that I had and my mind was buzzing with worry, and my entire life outlook with priorities changed dramatically. Since then I recently quit my long time job, I was two years from retirement, so leaving early wasn’t to bad. So I understand what Mr. Leaw feels about his health and restructure of priorities for the family and life in general. I wish you guys the best with life and your health. It’s important to take time out for yourself and family w/o filming and on the job. Take care of yourself and one another, that’s the most important thing in life.

My husband had a heart attack two years ago and he survived. However it took him a long time to get well physically and mentally. It was hard on him and it was very hard on me to do my best to take care of him. We are old though. I’m 73 and he is 80. We still hopefully have several years left on this earth. 🙏🏼 But you guys are young and have many many dreams and hopes. And much living to do. I’m not comparing our troubles with yours. Just to say that illness and troubles are always a part of life. We need to keep our faith and remember we are blessed in so many other ways. You will figure it out. Great! Going on vacation. Hello Sara, Luca and Luce, Luca, don't think you are the only person that gets energy when you are active, I'm exactly like that. I' am 68 and love to be active because it gives me energy. A side note, being active a lot means use loose essential salts and minerals when you like to walk, hike, climb, being active. sooo my doctor told me to eat salt on food. And fellow hikers want energy food like pretzels with salt instead of without.
