I am a History Student and i love both countries, with history i believe IT gives you a greater Connection to them. Next to the british, spanish and the russians, the Germans and the french were Just so powerful in the past and influencing the world as europeans. ITS Just awesome.

bro internet is so dumb, ww2 defeat was a strategic position defeat the french army couldn’t defend Paris because German tanks moved faster so Paris was lost and without defenses in the south, French army though it was lost so they surrendered. Also, with the surrender, the Germans created Vichy state of France so France would be in the German new world because France is Germanic, if you don’t believe me on France being Germanic, just look at French genetics in the north: r1b is the German dna

France used to have by far the largest population in Europe, one in every 4 European was French, but in the 19th century their birth rate fell earlier than the rest of Europe.
Now France has one of the most stable birth rates in Europe. Countries like Germany, Japan or China have ageing and soon to be declining populations where's France doesn't have those problems.

"Germany" as in areas part of the HRE at the time had roughly million pepole living there at the time. The estimated population of the empire excluding Italy was about 31 million.

Oy btw there is a fact that is wrong in the stats of this video : when it say France is least populated than the UK We are 68 millions in France (2021 updated) UK have 67 millions Often this false population stat for France come out in the news in US/Canada but it's wrong because it doesn't include french overseas departments (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte, French Guiana) and territories/collectivities (Saint Martin, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, Saint Pierre and Miquelon and French Polynesia) It's like not using Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico population when counting US population because it's not technically boarding USA mainland, it would be messed up right?
