Congrats to Yonss , I took Enel to the nats . Had some bad matchup luck . I played 4 pluffy . Went 2-2 against it. 3 of the 4 pluffy’s saw double Magellan . Over all I had some great games tho . Wish the tournament was run better the delays , the multiple re-pairs , the sudden end instead of playing round 11 really was a mess. The whole thing was disorganized and could have been handled significantly better.
I have said it and I’ll say it again. Magellan is the only card that does anything for it. I honestly hate the card. It’s uninteractive and 3 colors can’t do anything but take a hit from removing it late game through attacks or removal. It’s a cancer card
Idk man dude had ohm and holy every hand, 3 Yamato end game, dude had God hand. I think it goes either way and as far as purple Luffy goes he has the best God curb in the game. Enel played great though grats to him
I feel you man, in a casino house always win right? People underestimate how good Enel can cycle off life like shirajoshi of trigger and kat her into life to Massive % chances in triggers going off like the Capone off life was amazing for Enel. (Idc about the whole trigger bs like it’s part of the game everyone stop fuckkng crying about it) plus the brûlée instead of thunderbolt for the additional blocks was an amazing call for him. Idk what his list is but I run 4 Amaru and I swear by the card.
I think it’s like Saka is a card counter playing poker and Enel is the actual casino. You both can cycle just differently and sometimes Enel can play it for free. The Enel rush is a massive card that really messes Sakas game so much so that people should really consider running luffy I’ve even thought about adding the 7 drop or 3 drop starter deck luffy just for the Enel ( obviously 3 works better with the don numbers lol )
I think NA just can't pilot saka. EU and the east are just better lol. Hitting 3 yamato 1 enel in one game and turn 2 ohm-holy every game is just crazy lucky also. Sometimes you just get lucky lol. Im just glad this shuts up all the ban saka people lol
Enel is just better. EUs finals had a misplay to end its finals. And Japan probably overlooked it. The Final game of that set was clear. The deck was just better. There wasn’t some trigger. His decision making was nuts. Amaru to rest Kuzan to kill them so they weren’t a threat. His resources were drowned by having to out all the previous cards, and there wasn’t a lot of 20/20 decision making you could point to that the Saka player could have done differently. On top of that, by the time OP-05 ended for the East, Kata won the last major. (Yellow is an answer) and it probably was overlooked due to early stages of purple Luffy results. Here (NA) Enel has just way to many results to argue anything else. EU doesn’t have a leg to stand on cause in EUs finals there Swiss was 12-0 Enel. Just lost in top cut. So I’m not convinced there is any argument, especially player skill. Enel has the results. EU defense is marred by literal finals misplays and their tournament getting owned for 12 rounds of Enel with extreme Saka over representation. Coupled with the most reportable wins along with an 1800 plus player win on top of it. Theres too much evidence to assert anything else. Even EU players I talked about the Enel disparity between our metas state they don’t get it either. I don’t think you can blame the skill of players here cause it’s not like we play each other with Saka to prove who’s better anyway. The East must have just missed it. They are known for not observing decks, for the new thing. A proof of this, is the extreme topping of Enel for NA, and Zoro in EU and NA. Zoro especially being EUs second topping deck into top 64, shows how much of a great deck it is into the most represented Saka tournament to date. It’s a deck they never played. I think it had like 1-2 tops for their Entire OP-05 meta. So that’s another deck they overlooked and Enel probably is in the same boat.
Before you call it luck. You realize that he saw 1/5 of his deck for the Shura search, and the Ohm search and another 1/5 of his deck was already in life or in his hand. lol that’s 40% of his deck gon through or out of his deck. Counting the cards at deck and in his hand by turn two that’s over 25% of the deck to see a 4 of. So yeah he’s gonna hit it. Yama came at a good time, but he didn’t win of double Bege off of blind life. That’s lucky. But rolling like that is extremely consistent. Especially with his ratios to probably to see it. I think that saying he was lucky when he answered the Kuzans and picked apart Sakazuki the way he did, off of losing the Die Roll. Nah. He was just better and the deck was better. You gotta also think Enels game plan is not only simpler, it directly counters Sakazukis game plan.
