You were ruthless! Far more ruthless than I can be. 😂 I like your idea of the envelope from a full page image. Paper bags, journal pages, etc. Or just sacrifice the whole into smaller vignettes for ephemera. Mum used to go to an art class where they provided a stash of photos, greeting cards, and magazine images for students to choose from to replicate. ❤❤❤
Oh right! That's probably the exact type of thing happening in that picture! Just so strange that I happened across both of them in one magazine harvest! I think I will be making some videos very soon on ways I come up with to use full magazine pages. I'm looking forward to the challenge! Thanks lovely!
Yes! I totally feel that. Harvesting is just the most fun thing. Using the images is great, too. But harvesting for fun is just so relaxing. It makes me so happy. Thanks Allison ❤️
I loved this video and seeing what you harvested! When I harvest full page pictures I adhere them to a thicker paper and use them as a page in a junk journal.
The woman painting that picture that was in the other magazine is so crazy! Nice catch! Fun images that you found! Would love to see what you come up with for full page images. Other than gluebooking, I really have no ideas. Love and hugs!
Such a random coincidence that I came across the image twice right!? So weird! I think I'll start filming some ideas for full magazine pages soon! I'm looking forward to that challenge! Thanks Kari!
The habit magazine looks perfect for a fun art journal. It could be kept that size or even trimmed a bit for more of an A6 journal. Have you made a video of what you do with the pieces of paper after you harvested them?
No I haven't made a video like that. I normally have things like this in my stash for goodness knows how long. I'd never remember what harvest it was from. Yes! That magazine looks so good for an art journal. I will have to remember to make something!
I tend to have homestyle mags rather than women's weekly sort. The Habitat ones & the full size mags that they put out do have quite cool fonts and usually nice colours. Good to see what you choose out of it.
