Hi Romildo, thank you for getting in touch 😃 It’s wonderful that you also love gospel music. There are opportunities to sing in workshop choirs which typically last for a weekend. You can find out about these workshops online (social media). Unfortunately I don’t know of any workshops that take place in Brazil at present but am certain that there are some. If you are able to and like travelling, I can recommend some workshops to you. All the very best on your musical journey

Thank you!! I am trying to teach this in my congregation. We don’t use instruments but I think the parts will still work!! I love this song. Also I am trying to find a Spanish version. I can translate it myself but didn’t know if there was already a Spanish version out there.

Hi Jeffery, thank you for your feedback, I truly appreciate it 🥰 I think this tutorial can help as you teach your congregation. You can teach them the parts in person then tell them to rehearse at home with this RU-vid video. Practicing at home is very helpful in retaining the parts. I haven't come across a Spanish version of this song but am sure there is one out there. I hope you're able to find one.

Thank you so much for this breakdown, it has helped me so much. "Sunday Service Choir" has a version where they break into harmonies in a different "Hallelujah" pattern towards the end of the song and I'm struggling with it. Can you help me break those harmonies down?

Nice work Ms. Ruth But while I was scoring the Kanye West version the Tenor were singing 'mi' while sopranos 'do'

Thank you dear Omotayo 🤗 To be honest I didn't use the Kanye West version as my template. I heard and was taught this song many years ago by various choir directors, so I use a mix of various teachings I've heard over the years. Please feel free to adapt the song to what works best for you. All the best 🎶😎

I'm uncertain how possible it'll be as these videos were made during lock down when the team and I had less work commitments and more time to meet and make these. Hi @@titomacaulay6466, you can work through the video at a pace that suits you and rehearse the higher part/voice which is the soprano. Keep listening to it and singing along with the soprano/higher part. Once you are comfortable holding the soprano part, try and sing when all three parts/voices are singing together. It is challenging but with time it is achievable. If you don’t sing in a choir already, try and find one as it will help hearing other sopranos singing alongside you. All the very best! ✨
