I found a mini lop abandoned by my car in Auckland New Zealand, he was only about 7-8 weeks old, never in my life did I imagine i'd own a rabbit. He now free roams in my apartment I am keeping him and would be coming up to almost 10 weeks old. It's taken a lot of work, but he's amazing and has so much personality. He's a sooty fawn with a touch harlequin.
I am also raising a bunny named Tobin. We met her at the grocery store. At that time, she was in a dire situation, so I had to rescue her. Now, she is a 7-year-old cute member of our family, and we love her dearly. Please take care and continue to create happy and memorable moments with your bunnies. When I was fifteen-through-twenty-three, my family had a chocolate mini-lop buck and a panda-bear-spotted grey female mini-lop that we bred four times. I became so attached to Mom and Dad and their babies and bonded with so many of them! One sterling silver mini-lop would lie on my chest to hear my heart thump while I continuously petted her. She became so relaxed that her face and facial muscles "melted" into a relaxed state. So cute! While her brothers and sisters were playing around, I would sit on the floor "Indian Style" and she would treat anything other than my lap and legs like the "Hot Lava Game". Once she attempted to go on the floor and went into a panic and shredded my acid-washed jeans while she made it "safely" back onto my lap from the "Hot Lava" floor. My parents did a great job at secretly giving the babies to family, friends, and referrals as I did not experience sad feelings when I saw that the babies were no longer in the cage with their Mom.
Hi...I'm a new mini lop mum & I just found your channel. Your buns & their babies are beautiful. I have a white, blue eyed, 6mth old, girl "midget" (Midge!). I'm slowly learning, on the hop (did you see what I did there?)that I had no idea what I was getting in to. Went in blind. Had no clue! Ha! I am all in but it's a frustrating process! This little critter is a tiny whirlwind! She has taken over my apartment (which now often resembled a barn yard!) & shes ensconced herself in my heart...She's full of personality. She's adorable. Naughty...so, so naughty. Destructive. A snob. A diva. And boy oh boy is she keeping me on my toes! I learn a lot from these type of channels. Thanks for sharing your knowledge...

I have an orange mini lop with a white belly but no white around his eyes and he's just starting to get black through some of his coat too. 21 weeks old and today started humping my arm and being crazy with me all evening while oinking for hours
