This is really good. I struggle lately feeling like I was working and striving in God and so many bad things happened that it's been hard for me to feel like I trust God. I thought I trusted God before, but things turned out badly so I'm scared if I trust more will I make more mistakes.
I think it's completely natural to feel that way but what I've come to realize is that there are reasons why God allows us to go through certain things, whether it's to teach us something, build our character, etc and we may not ever understand it but continue to put your trust in the Lord and you'll see Him surprise you! Letting go and trusting God fully can be scary but if you trust that He will catch you, and be there to hold your hand every step of the way and know that He wants whats best for you, I pray that gives you the assurance to keep pushing forward and relying on Him. I'll be praying for you!! ❤️
I literally was meditating this morning and heard that I need to take a step back/release control so that God can step forward! I came to the conclusion this morning that I wasn’t giving God enough space to move in my life and business. I was always on go go go mode and wondered why things have been so rough / not bearing fruit. This video literally popped on my TL TODAY after meditating. Which is even more confirmation this is what God wants and needs me to do in order to work miracles in my life. I must now listen, be obedient and release control. Thank you so much for sharing. I pray God grows and amplifies this channel...this channel can bring a much needed Godly perspective to studytube, when you start medical school we hope to see you show the world that yes we can do outlr part, but regardless of any planning we can do (even if it's to the last second of our day) in the end God has the final say, this will help a lot of young people stop thinking they absolutely have to have every minute of their day and lives panned out, because there is a God who cares way more for us than we can for ourselves

Thank you for this video. You may have touched on this but what did letting go practically look like for you? Was it continuing to pursue med school but letting go of the feelings of worry and needing to control the outcome?
Such a good question!! I might actually go into depth a little more at some point in an episode perhaps! Yea so I was emotionally burdened with worry and fear, as well as feeling like I could control the outcome of whether or not I got into medical school. But sometimes God wants you to surrender and know that’s He’s God and that He’s the one that can open doors and is in control. I feel like that’s what God was teaching me during that time that no matter how hard I worked and studied and applied myself I had to put my trust in Him more than in myself. I was hesitant to trust Him and fully rely on Him. Because I was use to doing things on my own. But I reached a point when I had to, when I was hitting roadblocks such as with my test. So I began to pray more and surrender to His will believing that if it was in His will for me to go to medical school that I would. And I began to believe and trust that God knew best and I knew if I trusted in Him, He would get me into med school not that I wasn’t capable on my own but I knew that if I fully gave it over to Him, He would open doors for me. And He did (I also did the work too! I never stopped working hard) Knowing that He was in control and that I could put faith in Him, allowed me to fully let go and let Him work on my behalf in whatever fashion that looked like and by doing that I had so much more peace, and no longer felt burdened with worry and fear. I trusted, believed and put my faith in God knowing that He would make a way even when I couldn’t see it. And He did!! I hope that was helpful ❤️
