This song has always made me emotional, it is such a perfect combination of meaning and sound. I've always found it so powerful and soothing, (even before hearing Paul McCartney report in an interview that he had written it as he had woken up after dreaming of his late mum whom had spoken to him the reassuring words 'let it be'...) Thanks Paul for sharing these memories and what came out of it with the world, and thanks to all the talented singers that keep practicing Let it be's magic wonders long after it was written.

Since the song is from 1970, I'd say they meant at least 55 years old, Sloots. Of course people show different reactions when songs remind them of their own past and they grew up with them. Same with me and the Eurodance 90s. However, I like many different kinds of music from different times. Yet it's different listening to songs that you can combine with your own past or other personal memories. I agree with the song being classic and timeless, Michael, but I highly disagree with your insults. Looks like your mind was acting a bit immature there. Nix just said that they love the reactions, that's positive and not tempting to make fun of anyone, am I right?

For the time of the song 1970 well is correct what you say, But let it be as Yesterday and hey Jude are classics, I really like that music, And I start listening this music when I was 9 years old, I am 50, and maybe you could say I am old, but I dont feel so old, ha ha, just enjoy music, Beatles really made a revolution in music, believe, take care, and blessings!!

I'm not calling anyone old, was just trying to explain what Nix could've meant, answering Sloot's question. Also you can see age in relations. For a baby I could be old with my 28 years. However, I don't think they wanted to insult anyone. We're all here to enjoy the beautiful and talented Allie, that combines us. Doesn't matter if we're young or old, black or white. Everyone is welcome! A friend of mine (24) would have shown similar reactions, she's a little Beatles addict. :-)

When I saw the title I was afraid she was going to rush the tempo, which she tends to do, but instead it was perfect. Its so important in music not to just rush through the notes and lyrics.
