Honestly, the ending can be summed up with this: Death planned on destroying the whole world once you finished, but instead he thought you were so cool that he rathered play video games with you and hang out with you instead of destroying everything. What an amazingly weird ending to an amazingly weird game.
who just lets you continue living as an immortal in an endless cycle of battles, yeah. Nevermind that there's still a giant, fuck-all ominous concrete city tower that looks like a ghetto R'lyeh filled with modded undead off the coast of Japan.
So at the end i just died multiple times got my ass whooped by bosses so many times and broke two controllers to get to the top of a tower and turns out i just helped Death destroy all of humanity and now spend the rest of eternity playing video games with him? Best ending of 2016 to a game. 10/10.
what a shame it would have been fun fighting the actual Final boss i mean i love this game but there is no more bosses to kill :( now i have to quit the game for the first time after playing for 195 hours Too sad :( but we all know that some things have an end even this EPIC game :(( im gonna miss it (crying Noises)
So from what I can gather, we were coerced into a master plan by THE Death himself (which was pretty obvious) all because he was fed up with mankind destroying themselves and wanting to erase is all, only to realize that the hope he had lost for mankind was renewed in him, by you the player, for reaching the top with your level of skill and play. Much respect for you Uncle Death for giving us a chance.

No. While its obviously inspired by souls, this game is nothing like it. Skill has rarely anything to do with it, its all a numbers game of levels. And it has soft paywalls
Seeing as the MC never talks to Uncle Death, or really acknowledges him other than looking at him, I can see how Uncle Death would be the MC's Yandere. He really actually just wants you to notice him, Senpai.

Didn't you know that after you beat the final boss that he killed before you got a chance to fight, that he was going to come out as the true final boss? But he was done with that.

But yeah either way he fucking does something, for example Killer 7, Killer Is Dead (The plot is fucking odd but I love it and it's connected to the Killer 7 universe which is cool), No More Heroes and so forth. He is always like that. I think the "True" ending will come soon via updates and stuff, maybe an extension to the ending possibly.
Dawn, I think I love this game character, he is badass as fuck, he can one shot everyone and everything, he's the "Death" he's funny, it can make a good friend. And the most important, he call you Senpai.
Steve Radroach Same here. I'm sort of disappointed that we couldn't fight death or even that huge son of a bitch. But on the other hand it's such a hilarious ending. So yeah it's seriously difficult.
Steve Radroach I do not believe this is the true ending of the game since it has been confirmed that there are 128 floors. We are supposedly getting 40 more floors in an update soon which this ending eluded to (with death adding an addition to the console which created an incomplete pyramid). Expect more from the story as the game continues to progress.
There's a lot to like about this game. Hopefully they make some money and it gets polished. I really like the way weapons you use level up across all your fighters and really start to feel powerful.
I want to like this game, I really do: but the enemies move way too fast for such a clunky combat-based game. And this is coming from someone who enjoys playing Souls games.

The way Japanese devs explain everything in monolouges is so funny, like as a kid I assumed it was a joke or a trick because no human really dose that, little did I know of foreign cultures then.
OH MY GOSH UNCLE DEATH IS A HUMAN UNDER THAT SUIT, HE HAS HUMAN EYES! At 3:36 and 3:55, you can see his eyes... I think at 4:43 and 5:18 you can them as well. I am starting to think this is the Fake Ending... grab those stamps.

Uncle Death became my favorite character in all of gaming as soon as the opening cutscene. They nade death so silly that it's hilarious and fits the character in some way.
Rafa panzer now with the update where i guess if you stay on the floor (s) for too long one of the jackals well be sent to kill you (happened to me out of nowhere, all i heard was a small alarm and then i turn around and this white dude lvl 200 shoots me and i thought it meant if you stay on one floor for too long but i literally got to the floor i was on for like 5 minutes)
