It’s because Disney doesn’t think black women (especially dark black women) are marketable. Let it shine is one of the only all-black Disney channel OG movies and it barely got promotion along with Jump In. Also Coco Jones music never got the push it deserved. Selena, Zendaya, Miley, Demi would have their music constantly played during commercials but Coco was not granted the same treatment
