In the darkest depths of the night, when the world was shrouded in silence, he embarked on what he thought would be a routine journey to the bathroom. However, as he reached for the toilet paper, he discovered to his horror that the roll was empty. Panic set in as he frantically searched the bathroom cabinets, but to no avail. Just when he thought all hope was lost, he remembered the emergency roll hidden behind the towels. With a sigh of relief, he reached for it, only to find… it too was empty. In a twist of fate, he realized he was out of toilet paper. And so, in a moment of desperation, he faced the ultimate test of resourcefulness, emerging from the bathroom not only a conqueror of bodily needs, but also a master of improvisation.

I think that's what always brings me back to MrBallen. He doesn't use cheap tactics to hook your attention. He just relies on being a great storyteller, and always having an interesting story to tell.

I saw people complaining about how he adds stuff that nobody would know about, like what a person was thinking. I fully know that he adds those bits for the sake of the story. Idk why people have a problem with it.

As a viewer, I think what makes MrBallen so good at what he does, is not only does the viewers/listeners get the payoff at the end, but it’s the way he tells his stories. It’s the way he’s so theatrical with how he tells the stories, it’s the way it explains every single detail in the stories. He even goes to the extent in explaining the layout of a house in his stories so that you’re able to visualize it. He’s really gesticulative as well.

I was hooked on listening to his stories at night and then again the next day since I never finished listening to it all. 😂 About a month later my husband comes home all excited asking if I’ve heard of a MrBallen because he’s so good I need to follow his channel. I looked at him and said “Wait… you just heard about him?” I’ve been following him for some time. He was sad i spoiled his news.

Mr. Ballen is hands down the best storyteller on the internet. I’ve listened to just about all of them and no one can keep me locked in like Mr. Ballen. I have listened to every story he’s told on RU-vid and his podcast. Everyone who knows me already knows if it’s Monday or Thursday I’m going to be listening to Mr. Ballen in my car.

Sorry for your Loss and I'm glad you were able to find some solace in Mr Ballen's story telling. I have to agree he's a Great Story Teller, listening to his stories helped me thru my addiction and coming out on the other side once again & Hopefully Sobriety Will Stick THIS Time Around!!!! His Story Telling is Addictive & He's a Better Addiction than opiate's!!!!

Sorry for your loss. My mother was never the same after my step dad died. Drank herself to death. She would wail in the night even 10 years after. It took her so long to die. Im married now and I finally understand why she was so destroyed. I do not think I could survive losing my wife. I would be so lost without my best friend.

He has this way of describing each character without any judgement. You'll find yourself totally thinking this person has been through a lot, & you start to empathize with them, & then BAM! OH MY GOD! They just killed their own MOM!!!! He is a MASTER at leading you ever so slowly down one path, when it's the other path you should worry about. I don't know how he does it. But WOW DOES IT GET YOU EVERY DAMN TIME!🤯😵‍💫😮😱

It's all about the immersion of the story. The way you tell it, we see the story through their eyes. When they do the build up the way they do it gets drawn out, and breaks the immersion of it. When I found you I watched all the videos you had back to back because they kept me immersed and I couldn't turn it off to do or watch anything because my brain would go back to "I need to finish that because I NEED to know"

This is great because I can usually guess the end of stories but you're (/your mom is) one of few writers/tellers I can't always predict the stories told. The stories you tell are often ones I already know and even then it often takes me until a name is mentioned or a key detail comes into play that I know what it is. Then of course I can guess the twist and ending, but no one else can bury a story I *already knew* like you can.

Hes so right! Often times when someone drags on a story and gives too many details, it's too much, it's annoying and u dont wanna listen. Mr. Ballen tells a story with lots of details, but he's keeping you on the edge of your seat the WHOLE STORY! He's the best storyteller!

This is the ONLY guy on RU-vid that I will listen to for more than 5 or 10 minutes. Incredible story teller. I listen to his stuff all the time. He makes you feel like you’re actually there with the way he details his stories. Highly recommended.

He's right. I try to be impatient with his stories and skip to the end but I always end up goong back to get the entire story/context what have you. He's an immaculate story teller and I appreciate every bot of it.
