I randomly found your channel searching for Conquest painting videos and got really surprised! You paint really good and videos are good quality, informative and edited good. Great job, keep up good work!
@@OrionsBeltMinis oh, Wadrhun - newer plastic sprues (apparently the earlier Conquest ones weren’t so hot). Plus that new Alpha T Rex rider is too cool 😬
Absolutely gorgeous work, makes me very nervous on the video I've been preparing, you're gonna show me up big time Jason "The Bruce" (individual account)
Not bad, a tip for muscle though is to not block it in. Carry your colors through a connection point. This includes your highlight colors. Muscles aren’t blocked they are all connected.
Nicely done, and rest assured, we all have those painting days when everything just drives us mental because it's just not working at all for us! These miniatures aren't doing anything for me (the character designs just aren't grabbing me, sadly), but I really like your color choices in general--Angry Cannibal Smurfs, is what it made me think! Keep up the good work, Miss Stephanie!
I seriously dig your paint scheme here and you did really well! The only thing that I don't like is the jade weapons. Maybe for some of the characters that would be a cool idea, but it's too similar to the skin tone and it's a personal opinion, but it seems silly to have a majority of your army using an extremely valuable material for their weapons. I really don't want to sound nitpicky, because again you did great!
They’re massive. It’s 38mm scale which is kind of a bummer because it makes it harder to find terrain that works but as far as painting it’s the best because there’s more surface area to try new techniques and such
Based on pre and post release interviews they went with the larger scale for design freedom. Primarily they wanted the weapons to be durable for production while looking proportional to the model. Oftentimes at 28mm you have to make the hands/weapons slightly larger or thicker so that the weapons are less prone to snapping.
