I was actually just animating in krita then it crashed, and I totally lost the will to keep animating, so I looked up "Krita animation" and saw that this had come out. I can solidly say that this rekindled my inspiration
I now know the hidden secrets behind actually doing this shit myself. I now know that it is actually more simple than you'd think if you just know the method. I learned this from many days researching these methods. I now know that this is infact not black magic.
Man oh man, I subbed just for this let’s animate series, so consistent, really well executed, as an animator myself just now getting the tools to do it the way I want to, this series is a great way to get ideas! I salute you!
wow this is amazing. i am doing my animation using krita too, but not good as yours :D hey you should show us how to do the light animation on the background !!!
like always love your content! if you could start time total work time in hours that would be super useful to compare.. when you say "10 days" or "one week" that can be a pretty big variation of work hours
Thank you! I don't animate regularly before since I work as comic book artist. I started testing out some animations four years ago. Last year I just started again and maybe do it regularly as possible. Comics is my priority for now. :) Thanks for commenting!
Nice animation, i too animate on krita but my mp4 files come out u watchable, i have the ffmpeg file linked to my krita but still my animations render unwatchable, can you please share any helpful tips or recomendations that i should know? Ive tried every tutorial ive found on youtube and through the forums on krita, but if theres anything you can share with me then it is all appreciated.
Hello there! If you have Photoshop or QuickTime Player, you can render your Krita file/animation as IMAGES (sequence), then open it in PS or QT. Then save it as .MOV file. Hope that will help.
@@EdTadeo thanks friend, i havent tried something like that yet, unfortunately i cant get photoshop at the moment because im a little short on paying a monthly 10 for it even though its a good deal. Its just that college is in the way with that. But ill see if i can find a work around with that but thanks for the advice :)
@@rjrazor6464 I also had that problem. What I did once was converting all frames as a png file and do it in a folder. Or else your desktop would explode. Then I put it in windows moviemaker all the images and set the duration, save it as a movie and speed it up. That's how I did it with my recent balletdancer animation and it turned out well. Still quite a chore though..
If a 10-second animation is taking me two weeks, then I'm considering I'm having too much effort on it. So I have to target five days to one week on a 10-sec. animation. One whole week should be enough.
just one small question ...how many frame did u make for first pose because the light effect from fire was creating shadow and it was moving ...so how many fram did u made just fir first 2 second ?
@@EdTadeo yes it used to be just for 3d but now it can do 2d as well, and is actually very funny, you can just bring your sketchy style there, just try I fell in love with it in a week after 3 years of krita thanks to the 2.8 update
Hey I have a question for ya, did you lineart every frame with the help of the rough layer, or do you just have to lineart one and krita is doing the other frames with some kind of magical algorithm for you, couldnt see it in the video, maybe you just made a cut or something idk :D
Everyone here wanted to learn not to watch your progress or making please do it with patience so that a newbie can understand. it dosent matter wather your video time increases in making tutorial. You dont have to write title LETS ANIMATE you have to give the title that U WATCH I MADE. The point is please make a tutorial. it means you have to tell us every step that you have taken in the video. THANK YOU
Thanks for that comment. ^_^ Let's Animate is not purely tutorial. I am just giving you the idea how I make mine, and the viewers will do theirs. The acting will not come from me. The anatomy and proportion of the characters will not come from me. It is the viewers' responsibility to learn the rest of the art. If I'm going to tell everybody "this it should be done", then it means I'm letting the viewers to go back to re-learn (with my techniques) what they have learned. Let's Animate has few videos providing the idea how to composite the animation. That's why I have HitFilm Express shown as one of the main softwares. And HitFilm has their own RU-vid too. I'm sure there are people here that are smart enough to figure things out themselves. I, myself didn't know what i was doing when I started this series. ;) There are tons of tutorials on anatomy and proportion here on RU-vid. I'm sure one of them has better explanation than mine. ^_^ Thanks again for that comment. ^_^
