I'm gonna second this. It's easy to get lost in the forest of capitalism and metrics and demographics and profits and losses, but it's much more responsible to utilize your platform to promote and build up deserving artists who are struggling to build an audience.

True also I'm gonna add something hoping Fantano reads that i know most of us are thinking about every now and then. Fantano! We miss "thisistheplan" kind of crazy & funny videos. Whether it's some Meme Shitposting or a condescending video about Vegan Shakes that made many of us non-vegans consider trying out vegan shakes to achieve the kind of guns Fantano was bragging with I'm sure many of your Subscribers would love it if you get back into it. Just know that the majority of us Subscribers really enjoyed that content every now and then next to the usual content. I Feel like I'd personally like for people to still pay for it. They wouldn't have to pay much but I'd also like for my family to atleast keep making money off of it. Atleast letting my family have a small percentage of the revenue earned. I'd probably also love to just make a certain album that is literally made for when I die. So my name would still somewhat be out there and the fans would get a satisfaction knowing that I wanted that for them.

Was about to comment this - I’m definitely w/ Fantwan on this issue, especially regarding Spotify.
