This simple little FM transmitter from eBay for the incredibly low price of $1.69 is more powerful than one would expect. Range is up to 500m with a 9V battery and a quarter wavelength antenna wire.
eBay links are always changing, search for "FM transmitter module wireless microphone", sort for "buy now" and "lowest price" to find it.
The frequency is adjustable and pretty stable due to an additional amplifier section. Audio quality is very good!
Only very basic soldering skills are needed to get this up and running!

Hello, great video thankyou. I am wanting to have to run lights from the fm signal. Do you think I could remove the mic and add a mp3 to the board. Thankyou and keep well.

Check first if your cel has an FM receiver. Then download an FM radio app from playstore (for Android). Or just use a common FM receiver

Can't remember, it's been a while . But it was pretty good, certainly several 100s of meters with the right antenna

Hey, do you mind explaining what batteries you used for this and how to recharge it?
@tomtechtod9200
@tomtechtod9200 6 лет назад
It's a 9V battery which are usually not rechargeable. Voltage can be lower with decreased range. You could use any rechargeable battery with a commonly available charger below 9V. Don't remember what the minimum voltage was, guess it still works with 3V

Thank you Is www.ebay.com/p/10x-Pp3-Mn1604-9v-Battery-Holder-Clip-Snap-on-Connector-Cable-Lead-Black-PS/1453057256 is the battery and holder? Or which 9V battery thats not rechargeable are you using? And how long would the battery last? Thank you again!

The link you posted is only for the battery holder. The normal 9V batteries you buy about anywhere (alkaline) are not rechargeable. There are 9V batteries that are rechargeable in the same format, they have actually 8.4V. At 9V the current is pretty high, it's gonna last only a couple of hours. Go lower in voltage with AA or AAA batteries and it's gonna last longer
