If you looking for brick set suggestions... maybe a fan made Legend of Zelda set. News today was Lego Idea's website is not only rejecting The Legend of Zelda fan ideas but outright banning them, due to a potential Intellectual Property/Licencing conflict.

Does anyone know of a Lego-like build of the TARDIS? Years ago I found directions on how to build one, but I can't find a good size one in a kit. Lego only made small ones as part of a bigger scene.

I was contemplating getting this. But, I'm not really an Astroboy fan.. not that I dislike him, I simply never go into it. Still, this is cool looking and like some posters/artwork and toys I've seen that look pretty much just like this. I recently bought and built The Great Wave from Pantasy. Pretty cool Lego-esque representation of the famous Japanese woodblock print. I was inspired to try and build a Lego version of some famous artwork by the Lego Van Gogh Starry Night set and found it while browsing. I don't know the brick count for The Great Wave? But, I think each brick bag set, 7 bag sets total, took about an hour or more to complete.. so, nearly 8 hours, maybe? Didnt seem like THAT much, but every bit adds up time. The quality of the pieces aren't too bad. I'd say they fit just a tiny tad tighter than Lego ones.. Legos tend to snap together a little easier/smoother. Otherwise, I had no major fitment issues. Instructions are actually better illustrated than LEGO's.. at least each image that shows you what you're slowly building up they highlight and easily see what and where. LEGO instructions don't do that so you really have to be sure you see exactly where all the new pieces you are adding go.

I like how they have outdone Lego with printed on custom pieces, now they just love to put stickers everywhere, the damn things peal off on their own

Relaxing would be a real time build, the high speed version freaked me out a bit. But a nice kit that looked like a challenge.

It does not even fly or shoot lasers. Meh. JK ofc, it rocks :)

Maybe don't build kits from a place who's copyright laws allow for counterfeit everything. Not to mention the lead contamination. I'd wash my hands and get a heavy metal test after building that.
