I love Lagi so much. 3tri was my first mh game as a kid. I remember crying because I couldn't beat the first quest you have to slay Lagi. It took me 10+ tries

Are those ratchet joints stll a thing? I remember loving them in the lego ideas sets. especially the dinosaur one with the trex. I also remember, that the articulation was limited to one axis though, not like the bionicle/hero factory joints.

11:05 Lagi seems so regal and prideful standing there in that pose. And the spongey boy appears as perfect in motion as in the photos. Aw yeah, Narga's next! The wingblades look great!

Love the model you made, but have to say I don't agree with how you describe MH's progression. The game has always been a dance between monster and hunter, just the controls in older games were clunky and made it harder to do stuff properly. That doesn't make them bad, I just like to think of the modern iterations more refined. And a lot of players tend to forget the most important factor in MH: Experience. You've played older games, and a lot of the newer ones tend to be less frightening because you are not a new player anymore. You've grown as a veteran, and know what to expect in future titles. I can't imagine even if you go back to MH3U or MHTri that you'd still feel the same fear and dread to fighting Lagiacrus now since you are more experienced. It's an exciting battle for sure, but far from fearful. That has to to with your experience. Once you're past a certain point of experience as a hunter, the feelings of fear are lost to fighting a lot of them. Instead that fear is replaced with confusion or frustration when you experience something harder to predict, or something you don't know how to counter.. But fear, unfortunately, never returns. I understand that feeling though, I do wish the games could instill that sense of fear for new monsters, but that just won't happen unless they start dipping into horror territory instead, which I doubt will ever be an intentional move by Capcom. (Closest we ever got was the Rotten Vale in World..)

As someone who is considering buying into the patreon tier for instructions and the auto-cart, i think it would maybe be nice to get a glance of the total (estimated?) price of said cart before i make that choice. Not trying to sound rude so sorry if i come across like that, I'm just really interested into making lagi and maybe other monsters and a rough estimate of what the total cost of the project would be helpful :)
