We've cleaned off the Pink Table, de-moulded the food, made most of the Cake Tree sparkle, and we're not letting up yet! But wait... just what the hell is that inside the Hourglass?

"It was a terrible, indescribable thing vaster than any subway train-a shapeless congeries of protoplasmic bubbles, faintly self-luminous, and with myriads of temporary eyes forming and un-forming as pustules of greenish light all over the tunnel-filling front that bore down upon us, crushing the frantic penguins and slithering over the glistening floor that it and its kind had swept so evilly free of all litter." (description of a shoggoth, from "At the Mountains of Madness")

Seems like Dr. Powerwash will need to wait for Spider-Man to rescue them from this realm. As for the hourglass, the internal rotations are what throw me off, but to hazard a guess, the internal substance looks like how mana is often portrayed in settings where it's some magic fuel. But physics-wise, it seems like some sort of liquid motion bubbler where there are layers to the hourglass and some mechanism to produce turbulence if you wanted something similar in real life.

The stuff in the hourglass? That is how Dr. Powerwash's mind can process raw warpstuff. Lovecraft had such a vivid and powerful imagination... too bad he was a terrible person. I want to say that I heard that he softened on those positions later in life/started to regret those views he had. Could be apocryphal though. I think of the Cenobites from the Hellraiser franchise when I imagine how Slaanesh views the world. Then again, I think that Pinhead and his band of degenerates were a direct inspiration for "She Who Thirsts." I've always thought the oppositions were a bit off though. What I mean is that Khorne and Slaanesh are violently opposed just as Nurgle and Tzeench. In my head, it makes more sense that Khorne would be more opposed to Tzeench, where as Nurgle and Slaanesh make better enemies. Returning to to my commentary on "Only in Death," there is a scene between a commissar and another character that really hit me in the feels. When the fate of a particular character makes even a commissar cry, you know it's pretty intense. "Anarch" though... goddamn that novel really hit me hard. I recently discovered an anthology that's a follow-up and it continued that trend of going after my feels.

11:45 - Aw, come ON! Not this Imperial propaganda again! Yes, Nurgle and Isha are a thing. Yes, he tests new diseases on her. And yes, she is in fact yet to escape from her rusty cage and run. Because it all is *their "couple" thing.* He's into it, she's into it, and everybody's happy. So I gotta repeat that age-old advice, Imperium: _Judge not lest ye be judged... and talked about on the internet._ :D
