The best way that I've found to put the cloves into the oranges, is with a toothpick. Poke a hole with the toothpick in the spot of the orange that you'd like to put the clove🤗That is the best way that I have found
I like the idea with the orange slices that create the blood moon colour that reflects through the sunlight. I imagine a woody sweet aromatic potpourri such as Palo Santo Patchouli, Nag Champa or White Birch would compliment your winter theme well.
This is a lovely video. Thank you for sharing the coziness with us! I did a small batch of dried orange slice decorations a few years ago and, according to the directions, they could be saved for reuse, so I did. I did the cloves in 🍊 oranges, too, although I just poked them in the whole orange and set the finished ones in a bowl. Smelled amazing every time I walked by! I'm looking forward to watching your video on making the felt ornaments- I would love to try that.
I love this! You live in such a beautiful area! It looks so magical, especially with all the snow. You did an amazing job with the felt animals and goddess figure (love that color). The pentagram star tree topper is perfect. All of your decor and your heartfelt energy is inspiring. Thanks, and Happy Yule to you and your mate! ❤ 🎄🦌☀🎄❤
Hi new here from Australia I have never seen snow in reality lucky you.. and a real pine tree last real tree I had was when I was a child about 3 years old I remember the smell loved it ..your home looks cozy and festive 🦘✨🤍⛄🌲 Thankyou 😊
I can’t wait for the snow to hit. Winters here in Korea keep getting warmer. We are getting a lot more cold rains than I remember from years past. I may have to reframe my perspective on what winter means, otherwise I’m going to be bummed. I suppose it’s not significantly different than early winter in Pennsylvania when I was growing up though.
This was a cozy, relaxing video and i love your tree and the ornaments you made including your little Gnomes. I sure hope the other little one gets out of the hospital soon 🥰 I can almost smell the oranges from here. 🍊🍊Thank you for the lovely video ❤❤🌲🌲
❤... I love the ornaments You presented, and look forward to make them for my room, for this feast time of Jul... the smell, the sights... how do You mean with "thinking of the return of the sun ? And, yes... would You tell us more about those "House Spirits" - origins, history, how they could come to our time. Many thanks❤
I didnt know oranges represented the turning of the sun. Maybe why we hang up oranges with dried cloves around christmas. Most of the decoration on the tree is identical to my moms. Interesting how tree decorations are a time capsule to childhood
I love watching your channel. I have a question, and please understand when I ask this question, I mean no disrespect, the question comes completely from a desire to understand. When you leave offerings out to your household spirit, you mentioned oats, do you just come back later and collect them? Do you burn those offerings in front of them? How does that work for you personally?
I try and use something biodegradable so the next day I can compost it or leave it in the garden to degrade/for the birds. You could say a word to again to the spirit before you do so :)
