Hi Yvonne, I took the corn fake corn from Dollar Tree and painted it black and sprinkled it with the cinnamon and it turned out so good

I love the pumpkins! When you were spattering, it reminded me of a brush I used when T-shirt painting. This was almost 30 years ago. I googled the spatter brush and I was surprised to see they still make them! It's called the speckle brush. Now you've given me a reason to dig it out! 😊

The next time someone has written on something that you know you're going to paint, you could use rubbing alcohol to remove the ink

When I work with cinnamon I put down a piece of wax paper or parchment, or paper bag then I can just fold it and dump the extra cinnamon back in the bowl. Love the pumpkins

😎 cool pumpkins! The black is right up my alley!❤I used cinnamon and nutmeg for the crows on your crow pie. Use white glue and black paint to paint a candle and then sprinkle the spice mixture on, rub a little bit here and there when paint/glue is dry and then you can seal if you want….that’s how I make my grungy candles when I can’t find what I’m looking for.

I cannot choose between them... these are by far the Halloweeniest 🎃 I've ever seen! Love them both! The dark one looks like it is metal and been sitting out in the weather for decades..the white one looks like it's cement and weathered for years with dirt splashing up on it from an old patio! I hope you're keeping these for your Halloween decor..thank you!! I love how you refer to " playing" with items when creating! Making different seasonal crafts with our children over the years... they would get to a certain point with a craft and stop because of not being sure how to continue..I always told them to just " play " with it and it will come to you.❤ Sure do miss those days! I really do appreciate you Yvonne,, God Bless.

Well dang it...at the end of last season I donated all my jack o' lanterns because I was done with decorating for halloween. NOW I WISH I HAD THEM BACK! So cute Yvonne I really like them both. Guess I'll be headed to the thrift store. TFS

We travel full time in a motor coach, and since it is out home, I wanted to be able to decorate without having to put everything away every time we moved. So, Alien Tape to the rescue! I taped everything I could down to my counter tops, and we are now going on 4 years, and everything is still where I put it! 😊 I really, really love your 'rusty' pumpkin! That one is my favorite! ❤

Those pumpkins are amazing!! I have one of those lighted ones that I am going to try the cinnamon technique. I love that one! I cannot live without Alien Tape! I use it for so many different things. Those pumpkins turned out so cute! Loved the addition of baby’s breath. I wasn’t sure until then. My family is not so Halloweeny, but I love fall and decorating with stuffed pumpkins that I have made. Lots of leaves and harvest themed items. But right now it is just way too hot to even think fall!

Loved how they turned out. I have a wood box one end open the other end top I stapled metal screen on dip tooth brush in paint scratch across the screen makes great splatter for project and clean the screen off. Super easy.keeps the mess down too

I don't like to wear a glove either to spatter color either so I rub the tooth brush with a popsicle stick. Your pumpkins are adorable.

I love both pumpkins! So creative 👌. Please keep an eye on the heat inside the pumpkins. I know you changed out the bulbs, but the vellum is now partially blocking the vent holes where the heat would normally escape. Like you said, "safety first". 🙂

I love how you did the top of the second punkin. It reminds of like a woodland fairy type creature. That big punkin is very cool looking, very different from the other Jack o lanterns. Pumpkins comes in lots colors in real life. Happy creating.😊❤

Oh my. I love how you transformed both pumpkins. Just so much fun. You are so good at trying something different like the splatter. I am on the hunt for some foam pumpkins. I love both of these. The velum is pretty. I saw a dryer spray gold paint up inside hers before she started and that was stunning. I hope you might try that way. Love your channel 😊
