Please visit the Gingee fort in Villupuram district, Tamil nadu. It is the only fort in India which has Kalyana Mandapam(Marriage Hall in English), Horse stable, Elephant bathing tank, Gymnasium building, Granary, Magazine(Gun powder storage), View point building at the top of the hill fort, canons and Secret cave passages. 1. Rajagiri Fort is the 800 feet tall hill fort. 2. Ranigiri fort is the 500 feet tall hill fort. 3. Chandrayan Durg is the 600 feet tall, ruined fort consists of severe ruined and rare buildings. They are so close to each other. It will be your one of the best tour in India. While going to fort don't forget to have water and some mini snacks. It is a very difficult trip. There are many monkeys in the hills. Please visit Dale Sir! Your fan from Chennai. Don't forget to eat Dahi Puri in India as you said in Dubai. I'am so happy that following my comment and visited the famous Lahore fort. I promise you that Gingee fort in Villupuram district Tamil Nadu and it is 1 and half hour journey up and 1 and half hour journey back from rajagiri Fort. it is the main fort, Please sir visit there.
You were drawing quite the audience toward the end of your tour! 😳Btw, the fort looks like an amazing piece of history and architecture. It's unfortunate that more South Asian history isn't taught in the West; few people here are even aware of the Mughal Empire at all. Thanks for the video!
@@Jaqen_Hghar It's a similar situation here in the US. Unfortunately for someone like me, who isn't interested in American history but loves world history, it's quite frustrating.
Well duh dude time is limited and people all over learn 1 general world history class and 1 specific history class. when I was high school I had world history in 10th grade that basically just caught you up to the birth of america and then 11th grade is world history and 12th grade is government
ahhh i can’t even imagine how you managed to cope with all of those people swarming around you, but props to u for handling it very well!! i hope they didn’t ruin your experience of lahore! i felt this vlog was a little rushed bc situation you were in must have felt very overwhelming along w the time restraint… hopefully if you’re back you’re able to appreciate its beauty without feeling suffocated or rushed😭
Lol the swarm are ppl that actually LIVE there. Acting like he’s not some colonizer expecting to explore this country he completely stands out in. He’s out of place. He isn’t owed to be left alone at all he’s in their land
White tourism is hilarious it’s so cringey I can’t even watch this it’s upsetting he’s walking around w a camera pointing at everything and at people grosssssss
@@laurachacha What kind of ridiculous comment is that? How does him being a tourist make it acceptable for people to hassle him constantly? It's literally a tourist location too.
@@laurachacha I can tell you’ve never actually been to the country or speak their language whereas I’m actually Pakistani and understood all the comments that were made in the background in Urdu and had a better understanding of the interactions than you probably did :) have a good day though!
I was laughing so hard and they stare like that because most of them have never seen a white guy especially with an accent like that walking around there
Dale philip is like the nicest man i've ever seen, he gets along with everyone so fast and he is so friendly to everyone. i really love his personality and the way he speaks
The kids were asking where you are from lol. And you went on the busiest time on the busiest day! You were probably the first tourist these guys have ever seen so attracting quite a lot of attention.
@ETAMS they're not bad, they just don't have the etiquette on how to approach a tourist. They just surround them and stare or ask for selfies. Alot of the generations have grown up without seeing anyone outside of their own race before so they get overexcited. They are harmless though and this will gradually change when more tourism occurs in Pakistan.
Brother you always make very graceful videos without any background audio . It feels very natural. And lots of Love from INDIA to a Scottish 🇮🇳❤️🏴
Just stumbled across your channel in my recommended and I can’t stop watching! The way you show these places and the way you interact with locals is so refreshing from typical tourist videos. Can’t wait to see your next video 👍
Ngl bro , this fort is huge and awesome architecture, I will visit this one day when peace prevails between India and Pakistan.. thank you for showing this Dale, love from India 🇮🇳
I loooove these walking videos of Dale.. It makes me feel I'm there. And It's a joy because Dale is always kind, has no prejudices, always cool even in bad situations..
Honking problem is the most bs thing I have seen in South east Asian contries. As an Indian citizen I can tell you that we have a lot of honking problem here as well. People just can't drive like civilised humans.
It's because poor countries got cars way too quickly and didn't have time to cater their roads to it. Asian and african countries have that issue they went from having no cars to producing them for everyone. The newish side road to get on to my little residential street in florida is 50 ft wide
@@ravemasterdbzwwe that is not the main problem bro. Most of the roads in India are good except some like alleyways and from lacking states like Bihar etc. Main prblm happens coz of overpopulation people have made shops inside alleyways and many want to use it as a shortcut and when stock for the shops arrive trucks also enter in that and the chaos starts.
I love your videos Dale, this is worth peoples time. I always watch your new videos as soon as you publish them, because you bring good vibes :) Thank you Dale -Danny
what a video. I have had the same experience in Tokyo. The people love knowing that there place is beautiful and needs too be explored more by out of Towner's . ✌️
Yet another brilliant blog, Dale. You have single-handedly changed my perception of Pakistan! An absolutely astonishing country with beautiful people. You are giving them a platform to show how wonderful Pakistan is!
I am intrigued if Dale has changed your perception of Pakistan for the better I presume. What made you decide to having a negative perception of Pakistan particularly if you had never been or knew of any Pakistanis ?
Dale philip..Brother i'm always watching to your youtube channel ..I'ts very nice video i'm from philipines Godbless you brother..I hope your next destination here in philipines.Remember brother luke damant came here in philipines..
@Dale The sweet that you were eating is called "Sohan Halwa". It is made of milk, sugar, flour, "desi ghee (made with cow's milk)", flour, and dry fruits.
Funny part is when you were eating the smoking balls, you're like a little kid discovering a new thing and having fun with it😄🤣🥰 and yes obviously you always attract an audience but you mastered how to avoid them.
Hi Dale your videos are amazing Ideal to break prejudices, thanks to great vloggers like you, I feel like I belong to all cultures, I'm freer than before😊 much love to Pakistan. 🇹🇷💞🇵🇰
I request to dale.. After you complete your entire journey of asia, plz share your experiences about all the countries u visited and plz compare the countries on the basis of your experiences 💐🙏🙏😊
@@icyelsajiminbiased960 but there should be healthy discussion on what should be improved or praising the good about a city or a country...a whole vlog btw
@@saurabh334 if it's about praising the countries and their cultures by not comparing then... then it's ok... but if it is , then it would absolutely start a Social fight/war and there are so many people nowadays who oppose every opinion
Been binge watching all your videos from India and Pakistan because I’m excited to visit in the summer. Absolutely love your content, can’t wait to show my grandparents these videos!
You really shouldn't wear shorts to go to that kind of place, it feels like you didn't see anything, just some old walls! Anyway, still thank you for sharing!😄🙏 去那種地方真的不應該穿短褲,感覺什麼都沒看到,只是一些老舊的牆! 但還是謝謝你的分享!
Dale So much kindness is being shown by pakistani men to you and many inviting you to their homes..will you do the same to a pakistani man in scotland and show him the same hospitality
Hello Dale, it is so good to see you exploring Pakistan, The sweet you were eating in this Video called Habshi halwa /( Multani shohan halwa) is made with milk sweet, etc...
Hey, that “lahore sweet “ is called Halwa. And probably it looks like Coconut Halwa, there are many varieties and each have many colours. I think you have eaten this in India, where this is popular.
@@soggyflopsterr6757 nah, its actually cooked and freezed sweet. It will feel like jelly buts harder and you shouldn’t eat alot. Dale just digged into it like a burger. Lol
Thanks Dale! No opportunity to be in Lahore. Now had the opportunity to be Lahore virtually. It is lovely. Awaiting for New videos from you - always so interesting and adventurous.
I live in Lahore and that was not the part to afraid because the people of old Lahore just do like that ,they are just attracted by whom is unique ,so you don't want to worry at all.
Hey dale your patience level is so high bro I know that visiting that area among so many moron people who stareing at you without any reason how disturbing it must have been for you
One tip for you- you just need to bargain with shoppers until they come to 50-60 rupees, because everything in a temporary shop or barber shop is about 50-60 rupees.. and don’t offer 100rupees directly as 100 rupees is too much, offer them 60-70rupees at first..
The powder they put in the orange juice are usually plum powder with a little bit of salt. The indians called it masala. Well everything that's spices are called masala in India because it means 'ingredients'. It's asian thing to put plum powder for sourness & salt for saltiness. It's also common to put it inside acar. Acar are not pickle because pickles are fermented but acar are more like raw fruits, veges or leafies that's added with the plum powder with some salt & vinegar. The vinegar made it tasted as if it's fermented.
I find it so rude that you become something on display, so you can't really enjoy your time exploring. It's one thing to say hello and move on but to follow you and invade your space is just way too intimating. I guess it's a cultural thing but it's overkill when someone is in your space and gawking at you.
So excited to see you over on RU-vid. Huge fan on RU-vid but would love more videos here and also RU-vid shorts! Your a great person who spreads so much love, joy and kindness!
Pakistan's two cities have totally different vibes Somehow, I feel Karachi is more tourist friendly than Lahore., Maybe that's coz of the language barrier.
14:13 that fool was showing middle finger. He think he has done something to be proud about 🤦🤡 Anyways, good video, Dale. I believe your energy in today's video wasn't upto the par, but thats just me. Take care, dude.🇮🇳
Ohh my God! I've met that tour guide in the beginning of the video. Also it's best to ignore the kids. If you with someone local to lahore it might help with the crowds situation. Also going abit earlier in the morning helps with the crowd situation.
