20:25 and one thing that is well depicted in the manga (chapter 347) is that is the first time Ulquiorra shouts with anger at someone, so Ichigo was right in noting that he was becoming more human. No interaction with other characters makes Ulquiorra behave like this, in this battle there are hints of anger and pride in his behaviour, showing he isn't deprived of human emotion.

The biggest problem with trying to power scale Segunda Etapa is that Ulquiorra uses it before we even see the limits of his regular Resurreccion. He was clowning on Ichigo before and after, so we have no idea how much stronger he actually is from it. The other problem is that the Espada are ranked based on Reiryoku. If there's a significant difference between two character's reiryoku levels then the one with the higher amount just wins in a fight by no selling their opponent's attacks, but characters that are in the same bracket levels have never had fights decided on reiryoku. None of the characters even utilize their reiryoku in the same way, Nnoitra is only the 5th Espada but he has the strongest hierro, an ability that strengthens your skin with your reiryoku. These two reasons alone make it impossible to rank the Espada accordingly on strength. For all we know Ulquiorra and Nnoitra are the strongest Espadas but there's three more above them with more reiatsu available to use but they aren't putting it to good use. Given how well base form Ulquiorra has fought throughout the series, we have no reason to believe he isn't stronger than some of the Espada that have more reiryoku than him. We are soon reaching the point where we see a character with stupid amounts of reiryoku but clearly doesn't know how to use it.

It kinda stands that if Ulquiorra can do it, so can everyone else eventually. (Actually confirmed by Kubo) So if he’s number 4 in base, he’s likely /still number 4 if everyone activates Segunda Etapa

@@iReiGNxx he is the only one who achieved it so he is the strongest. And even in first release mode I have my doubts that he is weaker than harribel when toshiro could fight her equally and he is slow as fuck compared to hollowfied bankai ichigo that couldn’t even keep up with ulquiorra speed.

@@Kal911 I used to think harribel was weak too... (spoiler) Then I realized she never really lost to anyone but Aizen. She was holding her own against a captain, and two hollowfied lieutenants. Also implied that toshiro, when unrestricted by himself, is one of the strongest captains (despite him taking nothing but Ls all series)

one of the most epic episodes of the serie, i watched like 10 years ago i think and i still remember... like the sasuke and itachi fight, the end of that fight is unforgotteable.

wronf stark,barragan and cifer was the only ones who was truly vasto lordes and didnot need aizen hogyoku to become vasto lorde (i think pink haired guy was also i just dont remember)

Cap are you completely ignoring all the deep and beautiful themes of this fight as “what is heart” something Ulquiorra the nihilistic hollow without emotions or a literal heart doesn’t understand and him being intrigued by both Orihime and Ichigo consistent reckless decisions to save their friends something a nihilist like Ulquiorra does not understand?? Or the themes of Ichigo the entire arrancar arc trying to contain his hollow powers so he doesn’t loose control and hurt his friends only for his nightmare to come true when he goes Vasto Lorde and hurts orihime and Uryuu. Or the main overall theme of Ulquiorra the hollow slowly and slowly becoming more and more human while Ichigo the human becomes more and more a hollow. Again you’re what’s wrong with some Bleach fans/haters you guys get to infatuated with character designs and power scaling and not the actual story and themes being told THROUGH FIGHTING. Bleach is more character/character development/character conclusions oriented then most battle Shonen every major fight is filled with this not just for the good guys but the bad guys as well

@@Hamzethegoat wym bleach is like the least well written battle shounen among the big 3. Ulquiorra is hollow and empty I understand. But every Ichigo fight is basically he gets destroyed first and they try to appeal how he would not give up to save his friend until his lineage always come in clutch to save his ass.
