Part of what this song pokes fun at is that people do take it seriously. Also to me it reads as the song expressing that this isn't really a healthy way to deal with anger and that doing it at all isn't really fair

So fun story I was watching the final episode with two girlfriends who are also fans - and one of their boyfriends stuck around to watch too. We didn't know how to politely tell him to leave so we could have a girl's night and drink rose but he excused himself and left right after this song 😛 Love you Rachel and all cgx crew and fans ❤️

See, on the show, the jackets with the monochromatic outfits and extreme styling looks fun and 80s retro. Here, over black with simple hair and makeup, they actually look super cute and funky. Like, I could see them wearing those out in 2022.
