Oh wow! Such highs and lows! Sorry for your loss with Winston! Good riddance to awful neighbors. Hellos to Aiden and Doug!!! I did not know that cutting a jaw and moving it was a thing. Damn! Also congrats to salesman of the year. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster. Welcome back!
Great to see you back at it. We followed your build, watched every video a few times and planned a lot of our van the same way you did. We have been in it over a year now and it's great. I'll have to post a video when we make one. I'm still interested in the electrical system you used. I don't remember you posting about it yet
Wow… I can relate to the roller coaster and major turns life has thrown… what a busy two years we have had… tons of change. Looking forward to following this next chapter.

Congrats on your beautiful new family and welcome back. I know that we don’t know each other but I actually was worried about you when I hadn’t seen you post anymore. I’m so glad to see you happy. Why do I think I know what the next share is, the hints were there, huh? 😊
Dave, my love to you and your family. I watched your videos and I did end up buying a Thor Sanctuary and decided not to build. It was really alot of work. I know I speak for others here about the knowledge you shared with us on beginning our own journey and giving us insights to how we want to envision our own vanlife and we thank you for that. We all know our own lives have obstacles and you certainly had yours. Thanks and I'm glad things worked out. Keep making videos, you have an audience.
Wow, you're positive conviction is incredible and infectious - glad everything is moving in the correct direction that was a lot to take in - I was wondering if you'd be back - I started my van just after you and have been in it for almost 2 yrs... glad we'll get to see the conclusion - keep it up !!
Cute kid 😃 Glad he is ok! Usually everything else has a way of working out but losing a family pet always sucks. Looking forward to van build adventures 👍
So glad to see Dares Drives back my friend. This excellent video was an emotional rollercoaster, very touching, and brought tears of both sadness and happiness. What a journey over the past couple of years, and knowing you personally , you will be a great dad to your son. I was very fortunate to have worked with you the last few years before I retired, and I am so proud of your NAM salesman of the year accomplishment. All the best to you and your wonderful family and can’t wait for the next video
Wow man we guys have gone through a lot. Sorry about wiston😢. Similar thing happened to us my daughter was born 3 years ago and one day after she was born our pet cat that we had for 9 years was killed by my next door’s dog. Such mixed emotions as we were happy to bring our daughter home but our beloved cat was not there. It’s great to see you again doing videos. But like you say YOU DO YOU! and every thing else will be fine. Congratulations on your new family house job and all the good things that you guys have gone through.
I'm 50 seconds in and hoping Winston is still around. 🙂 And I never unsubscribed hoping you've eventually put out another set of videos. 17:58, Darn Jeff! I'm sorry. Such a loveable dog. And WOW !!!!!!! Has your life changed! Congratulations on everything from your family to your job to everything!
That’s a lot to take in. Now I feel bad for thinking you were quitting. Keep on keeping on. Looking forward to the continuation and Congratulations on becoming a father!!
I just thought about you the other day, I wonder what happened to the van. And boy did you have a 2 years. Congratulations for the happy boy and all the good that has happened.
Dude!! DUDE! I was looking for you everywhere! I sent you paypal, I search your friends in facebook, we were worried (my wife and I) !!! Until one of your friends replied me that you where "Too busy but ok" Glad that you are back!
@@DaresDrives Internet and YT is full of builders and videos, but you are almost the only that is "real" that embraces the errors and mistakes and shares those with us. We are building a van and we took a lot of the info about how to from you :) Congrats for the baby (we also got one of those 4 months ago, slowing the van project), we are here expecting new videos! :)
@DaresDrives haha I've watched every video multiple times for tips ideas for when I build my own camper. Best build on RU-vid by far. Keep up the great work 👍
1 minute in - looking forward to this! *EDIT* 2 minutes in - holy smokes! *EDIT* 27 minutes in - heck yea, I see more Dares Drives in the future! Thanks for the update.
@@DaresDrives I agree, your story had me on the edge of my seat at every turn. Quite frankly, there were a couple of times where I was kind of feeling choked up too. Been following your build for several years so although you’re a complete stranger we’re still connected in that way. Looking forward to seeing the van again but appreciate understanding where you went, congrats on your son.
