Want to build a van together? Better yet a serious 4X4 overland Mercedes van? I am currently building my first full time living van in which we plan to travel the continent with. During this build I plan to share all the struggles, from part fit issues, to wrong parts, broken parts and every little thing in between that typically isn't shared on current van build videos today!! This is not an easy task but we are going to document our porgess week by week until we are finally ready to travel together.
Hope you find value in our videos and help me grow by hitting that subscribe button, See you every Sunday with a fresh video!!
Water pressure is good, but with a max of 20 gallons per side you want a shower head that will reduce the flow. A five minute shower at 3 gallons per minute drains your 20 gallon tank of 15 gallons.
@@jeffsteinmetz7188 your response is not wrong but, you don’t leave the shower water going constant. Flip switch to get wet or rinse. Close switch while soaping, etc. switch will keep water temp the same but not waste water.
I had to watch your last video three time. I can’t believe so many things happened in two years. Including the baby. #1 salesman of the year. Congrats, what do you sell?
use a metal braided hose that screws directly on to the pump. plastic and clamps is very weak connection. especially using a gear clamp on your pump. gear clamps have a tendancy to losen with time and vibration. your pex crimps have been banned in canada residental and commercial use. i highly suggest you use crimp rings.
@@BC-ne2yn pex B clamps banned? U sure about that? Clamps were purchased in Canada at HD Poly B was banned in Canada, very different product. Never had an issue with gear clamps personally, but won’t say it couldn’t happen.
@@DaresDrives let me re-phrase - your pex ratched clamps (or b clamps as your refering) are. im not refering to your pipe. you should be using pex crimp rings, or whirsbo. you wont see any plumber using those for the last 15 years. im sure they will be fine as long as its not on rigid pex pipe with plastic fittings. never use plastic fittings on conntections. obviously some of your connections are like the pump but avoid on water installtions where your crimp. i personly would not rely on gear clamps in a vibration prone enviorment.
Wow bro, I felt like I went through a journey in life during these 27 minutes... It's fantastic to see you back again main! Bro I'm so hyped for the van build! I will see you there dude
So glad to see Dares Drives back my friend. This excellent video was an emotional rollercoaster, very touching, and brought tears of both sadness and happiness. What a journey over the past couple of years, and knowing you personally , you will be a great dad to your son. All the best to you and your wonderful family and can’t wait for the next video

Great to see you back at it. We followed your build, watched every video a few times and planned a lot of our van the same way you did. We have been in it over a year now and it's great. I'll have to post a video when we make one. I'm still interested in the electrical system you used. I don't remember you posting about it yet
